Lol just thought of Elgin sitting around in his home, and New Japan calls him saying that they're gonna book him and make him IWGP champion on his debut match, but he needs to meet the njpw officials in the states. Elgin answers that he can't enter the country, njpw just hangs up the phone. Ha

Man AJ leaving TNA/is one of the best things to happen in a while. How good is he now? He has a real aura about him. He feels really special right now.

I was pretty disappointed the way the plowed through the Adam Pearce segment. I really hope they keep him around. I thought the Decade was kind of awkward at first but I really like what they're doing now. I'm still not sure about Tadarius but I think Adam Page can end up being a real dark horse star in ROH.

I looked for it on the DVR today and it didn't record. I guess I understand why. It shows up on the schedule for next week.

Lethal seems to be one of those guys who needs a character to play. Whether it be Black Machismo, imitating Flair, or in this case just a classic heel. Which is fine, but he as just a run of the mill face? It was boring. I had high expectations after he left TNA and his face run was simply underwhelming. Since he turned and he is playing more of a character again he is winning me over. Hopefully that can continue.

I think, while not as bad of a burial, there's a subconscious reaction some wrestling fans have to their favorites not going as far as they want to and then they turn on them. The Jay Lethal backlash really seemed to start when he didn't beat Steen for the belt and was made to look weak even after he had his parents spit on. He never gave Steen his comeuppens, and the whole thing was kind of dropped, giving him no direction.

Truth Martini was just the shot he needed, and now he's back to being excellent.

Lethal just does nothing for me unless he's doing an impression but even then once he gets in the ring it all ends. There is just nothing special about his match to me and handspring cutter drives me f***ing bonkers. I will say his pairing with Truth Martini has taken him from a complete skip to watchable depending on his opponent.

Yeah, Lethal's awesome. I didn't like how they booked him when he returned and resented how he took the TV title from Generico so soon after he'd won it. But the guy is legitimately one of the better in ring guys they've got right now. I'm also loving his current alliance with Martini. It kicks the crap out of the hoopla stuff from last year.

I'm gonna pile on the Jay Lethal love. He's underrated as far as his babyface work goes, very passionate in his performance. It's easy to say he's better doing Randy Savage & Ric Flair impressions but the "killer instinct" storyline is my favorite thing he's done so far and one of my favorite ROH storylines.

How they ended the Lethal/Steen angle cold turkey I think killed a lot of Lethal's momentum. But he and Truth are helping each other out (I think Truth and Taven's Hoopla stuff was just cringe worthy and killed a lot of interest in both of them as well)

Silas Young - "Everyone Makes Me Sick"



The internet was all abuzz about the recent injury to “The Last Real Man” Silas Young!! Is it a broken leg? Is it just a small injury? Is it potentially a mind game being played by Silas to keep his foes guessing? Well if you knew Silas Young, you wouldn’t ask such things.

Silas is not a fan of mind games! Silas doesn’t want anyone guessing! Silas is a smash mouth, straight forward ass kicking machine that real men like John Wayne would be proud of! Silas couldn’t be more in your face and abrupt! With that said, it’s even more puzzling why the internet would question the severity of his injury!!

“I didn’t know anything about the internet questioning my injuries!” said Silas when we reached out via a phone call for comment. “Why would The Last Real Man care about a bunch of wide eyed geeks with muscled up fingers questioning how serious my injury is?”

The interview was one that was very tough. You could hear Silas pacing the floor. He was very obviously agitated that he was on the phone and speaking about an injury. “I don’t do this stuff, you geeks and you’re your media and social media and the constant need to be in everyone’s business sickens me!!”

When asked specifically about the wrestling reporters and fans questioning the severity of his injuries, Silas became even more infuriated!! “Why is that your business? What are you asking for the pansies on the pc’s or the pansies in the locker room who fear me??” Asked directly is he has a broken leg or not? “I have a transverse fracture in my tibia and a torn meniscus!” That sounds very serious!

Silas Young seemed to grow more and more angry as he was being questioned.

Asked if he knew exactly when he suffered the injury, he stated: “I felt something happen when I got robbed in Milwaukee by that sissy Michael Elgin!” ”But obviously as a real man, I laced them back up the following night in Chicago Ridge!” “Then I sign a contract for Toronto to face Cedric Alexander and ROH officials felt the need to protect him and that locker room from an injured Silas Young!!” “They called me up and said we have to give you some time off, so I smashed the phone into little pieces”. “How dare they decide for me that I can’t fight?”

“They can say they are protecting me, but we know that’s not the case!!” “They are protecting the pretty boy preppy geeks in that locker room who spend their time tweetering and trying to find dates on online or on their phones because they don’t have the guts to go out and approach them!!! “ “While you clowns are doing that, I’m in bars pounding back beers and picking up broads!!!” “While you guys are taking pictures of yourself in the bathroom of gyms, I’m in a real gym pushing legit weight!!” “Everyone makes me sick!!”

Silas stormed off but not without telling me to inform the keyboard commandos and gossip monger drama queens to “Try being a real man for once and do something that involves getting off your ass”. Silas lives as he preaches! He is without question a contrast to how men in society have changed!

He did not give a time frame for return, but ROH officials have been in contact with his doctors and both have been assured a 100% recovery, sooner rather than later!

While I think Jay Lethal is awesome, the biggest problem with him is that I have a hard time taking him seriously as a heel. He just comes across too likeable. Truth Martini is basically carrying things when it comes to the heel heat aspect of things.

That was the biggest problem I had with the Jay Lethal-Matt Taven feud. Jay Lethal just comes off as a natural good guy yet he's the heel and Matt Taven just comes off as a natural scumbag yet he's the face.

PRINCE NANA BELIEVES IN FUTURE OF HONOR



Prince Nana is a descendant of royalty in Ashanti, Ghana! He could have anything in the world he so desired! He has money, he has women, he has possessions, but what does he truly want? “I want the future of Ring of Honor to be as bright as the diamonds of my crown!!” These words are spoken with such conviction, you can’t help but be captivated as you listen to Nana speak about the “Future of Honor”!

The question has been asked, what is Prince Nana’s role with Ring of Honor? Is he a manager? A commentator? He is actually and official ROH talent scout! He can be seen at various professional and amateur sporting events trying to find the next diamond in the rough!! In fact he is bringing 2 new talents he scouted and brought to the ROH Dojo and recent Future of Honor camp to Wheeling, West Virginia this coming Saturday. When asked what he could tell us about these talents, he stated “I can’t tell you anything my friend, RD Evans and Moose are the only ones who need to be concerned about this!!”

”My track record in scouting talent is second to none and Moose knows exactly what I’m talking about!” said Nana without prompting.

While he may be a talent scout currently, there does appear to be an ulterior motive when it comes specifically to RD Evans and Moose. To understand this, you must know the history between RD Evans and Prince Nana. Nana has lead various incarnations of The Embassy, a group that has featured numerous talents and accomplished many things at over time in Ring of Honor! The most recent version was formed in January of 2011 and it featured RD Evans, Mia Yim and then ROH Dojo training camp standout, Tomasso Ciampa. As Nana became more and more infatuated with the lovely Mia Yim, he lost focus and did not see RD Evans positioning himself as the new leader of The Embassy. Before Nana could realize what was happening, The Embassy had exploded and the result left him on the outside looking in!

RD Evans has since reinvented himself and returned to Ring of Honor as full time wrestler. He is currently owner of a streak of victories in ROH, which he tallies at 150-0 after an exciting victory teaming with Moose Ojinnaka at All Star Extravaganza 6 in Toronto, Canada. When advised that Prince Nana was bringing Future of Honor talent into Wheeling, West Virginia and aiming them directly for RD & Moose, RD stated “I’m not concerned with Prince Nana, he is obviously still crying over spilled Ovaltine!”

“RD thinks I don’t know what he did with Moose, but he is dead wrong!” said Nana. “Moose was my #1 draft pick! It is not well known, but I scouted and recruited Moose directly to the ROH Dojo!” It is obviously wearing on him that a prospect so highly touted like Moose is now working so closely with RD Evans.

We attempted to reach out to Moose to get his comment on the situation with RD & Prince Nana, but all attempts failed. We did find out from a confidential source that Moose was quite impressed with RD’s business acumen and was stunned to learn of the history between RD & Nana.

Prince Nana’s track record with scouting talent has not always paid off in a positive manner. There were issues in 2013 when Nana worked to bring Outlaw Inc (Homicide & Eddie Kingston) back to ROH. Outlaw Inc was deemed to be a liability to the company, due to their unpredictable nature. Prince Nana was not their manager, but simply the scout who was lead to believe by Outlaw Inc. that they were here to become the best tag team possible. Nana was in a tough spot with ROH officials for a while, but proved himself once again by bringing some amazing young talent to the ROH Dojo!!

“I have taken this position as serious as possible, I believe in the future of this great company with all my heart!”

Prince Nana has promised to bring Future of Honor not just to the fans of ROH, but to the doorstep of RD Evans and Moose!! “They have no idea the lengths I am willing to travel to ensure the future of this company!!” he shouted. ”They also have no idea the depths I will go to right a wrong, RD knows what he has done and soon enough Moose will see the error of his ways!”
