While I think Jay Lethal is awesome, the biggest problem with him is that I have a hard time taking him seriously as a heel. He just comes across too likeable. Truth Martini is basically carrying things when it comes to the heel heat aspect of things. That was the biggest problem I had with the Jay Lethal-Matt Taven feud. Jay Lethal just comes off as a natural good guy yet he's the heel and Matt Taven just comes off as a natural scumbag yet he's the face. Really? The Taven/Lethal feud was the first point where I had to admit I was starting to warm to Lethal for the first time in his career. The reason why was I wanted to see Taven smash Lethal's face in. Because, as simplistic as the feud was, the fact that Lethal and Martini just kept doing these despicable things to Taven made me hate their guts, it was great!

I think the only problem I have with Lethal's heel run is just how "pro wrestling" his turn was and how he's a complete departure from the character he was a year ago. Lethal's great so he's still enjoyable in that role I think how they got there was pretty rough though.

Big Rod is obsessed with loyalty and respect. All he needs is Hustle and he can be the John Cena of RoH.

So ACH is still being booked... and hopefully not buried. I've got to think that GBH will be built on him potentially getting the TV Title off Lethal. The whole hometown/state boy making good. That and Jimmy v. Jay for the World belt.

Interesting, RIC. I'm not asking this to be rude, but what makes you think it'll be Jacobs vs. Briscoe at Glory By Honor?

Calling it right now, Mark pins Jay in that tag match to set up a title match at Final Battle where Mark turns heel.

I can see Mark turning on Jay, but I don't see us building towards Mark vs. Jay. I think Mark is more likely to join The Decade adding more fuel to a Jacobs-Briscoe match, culminating with Jacobs finally getting the belt at Final Battle.
THAT OR,
Jacobs beats Jay for the belt at Final Battle, but the slow build of the Mark push continues and Mark faces Jacobs for the belt at Supercard of Honor. Then, maybe Jay turns on Mark?

You guys actually think Mark "Chicken" Briscoe could possibly be booed at this point? I don't wanna boo Mark Briscoe I'll say that much. I think it's a cool idea for Mark to beat Jay for the belt and "beat the streak" but I don't think he needs to turn heel about it.

I've always thought Jay would make for a better heel than Mark. Mark is inherently more likable while Jay is more intense.

I don't know how much they're keeping with tradition, but do you think that ROH would change the belt over so early as a PPV this year? I really like Jay as champion and, if one of Dem Boys are going heel, I think Jay fits that role better than Mark.
I like Jimmy Jacobs and all but I just don't see him as a Heavyweight Champion material these days. If he was NOW similar to how he was during his AOTF days then yes. I'm not a big fan of his Decade work, however. That said, I think they could build Jacobs up with a slow burn where they either break up The Decade or have them turn on Jacobs(perhaps using the opportunity to bring in someone like Jay or Mark) beginning Jacobs' chase for the title. I've always wondered why, and forgive me if I've missed it, no one has taken the opportunity to point out during a promo that Jacobs is only successful when he's got a stable around him, etc.

results from the "Reloaded Tour: Wheeling" tv tapings (via ROH World) {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Pre show:
A) QT Marshall beat Chris Larusso
Episode 1:
- Jay Briscoe opens the show saying he broke the unbreakable, wants his "Real World Championship" belt back, and that The Kingdom is going to crumble. Adam Cole comes out and tells Jay he's going to make his life hell for as long as he's in ROH, and he's going to bring the ROH World Championship back to The Kingdom.
1. RD Evans & Moose beat "some roided up black and red painted team" (w/Prince Nana)
2. Michael Bennett won the Honor Rumble. At one point Tommaso Ciampa ran in and tried to enter the Rumble, but was stopped by Nigel McGuinness. Last four were Bennett, Adam Cole, Cheeseburger and Mark Briscoe.
Episode 2:
3. Hanson beat The Romantic Touch
4. Adam Page vs. Tadarius Thomas was ruled a no contest. Jimmy Jacobs made the match a No Disqualification match. After The Decade got on the ring apron, Thomas got pissed off and was got to attack them with a chair, but Page begged to be hit instead. Thomas hit Jacobs with the chair and walked off.
5. Adam Cole beat Cedric Alexander after a Twist of Fate
Episode 3:
6. reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) (c) beat The Decade (Roderick Strong & Jimmy Jacobs) to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship
- Adam Cole cut a promo saying he wasn't happy losing the Honor Rumble to Michael Bennett as that wasn't part of the plan, but says he knows Bennett will give Jay Briscoe the beating of his life.
7. Jay Lethal (c) beat Will Ferrera after a Lethal Injection to retain the ROH World Television Championship
8. Jay Briscoe (c) beat Michael Bennett (w/Maria Kanellis) to retain the ROH World Championship. Post match (i think) Bennett attempted a Twist of Fate. Maria is in the ring and Jay tries to give her a Jay Driller, but Adam Cole runs out and saves her. Mark Briscoe comes out to help Jay. Matt Taven, dressed in a suit, comes out...and nails Mark with the "Real World Championship" "ICONIC Championship" "Title of Love", joining The Kingdom. The Kingdom poses over the Briscoes while holding both titles.
Episode 4:
9. Mark Briscoe beat Caprice Coleman
- Nigel McGuinness calls out Tommaso Ciampa, and reinstates him under a zero tolerance policy on attacking any official. Ciampa gets into an argument with McGuinness wanting a title shot. Jay Briscoe comes out and starts arguing with Ciampa, until The Kingdom ran out and attacked him. Mark Briscoe tried to come to his aid, but was taken out by The Kingdom as well.
10. BJ Whitmer & Adam Page beat Brutal Burgers (Brutal Bob Evans & Cheeseburger)
11. AJ Styles beat Matt Sydal with the Styles Clash
