ADAM COLE'S MATCHES FOR BENNETT'S BACHELOR PARTY
This Thursday - Oct 9th in Chicago



The First Couple of ROH want the world to know that they are living a fairy tale - you don’t have to ask, they’re more than willing to share - and are just days away from their happy ending. But before Maria Kanellis can walk down the aisle as a surely blushing bride...her future husband is getting one last night out to celebrate. Fortunately for Michael Bennett, his cohort in The Kingdom, Adam Cole, has taken over his Bachelor Party. Cole has pulled out all the stops to make this a night Bennett will never forget - in a pro wrestling ring. And it’s all going down on October 9th!

Adam Cole took full control of this “party” and put together a night full of... unusual...matches. He’s finally revealed his plan and we have the details!

Jay Lethal and Truth Martini vs. ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly)

The House of Truth is going to be in action! Only this time it won’t be Jay Lethal MANAGED by Truth Martini. On October 9th, Truth is lacing up the boots! That’s right, Truth Martini will be making a rare in-ring appearance to team with the ROH World TV Champion against reDRagon. Interestingly, Lethal and the tag champs are scheduled to be on the same team just days later at CHAMPIONS VS ALL STARS…

ACH vs. Cedric Alexander

Adam Cole derisively claimed he made this match to appease the “internet geeks,” but his motivation really doesn’t matter when the action is sure to be that incredible! ACH and Cedric Alexander are two of the hottest, most exciting stars in ROH and they never fail to deliver. This isn’t the usual sort of “entertainment” expected at your average bachelor party, that’s for sure!

Mark Briscoe vs. Roderick Strong

Two mainstays of ROH will tangle at Michael Bennett’s Bachelor Party...but the stakes are a little unconventional. First off, these two are slated to team just two days later and represent the ALL STARS in Kalamazoo. But it’s doubtful that they’ll be able to focus on anything other than the present when they hear the stipulation for October 9th. Whoever loses this match is not allowed to take even “one sip” of alcohol the entire night! And if there’s one thing Mark Briscoe and Roderick Strong care about as much as wrestling, it’s enjoying an adult beverage in a sophisticated social setting (or chicken farm). This might be the most heated contest of the night!

Jay Briscoe vs. “The Man Beast” RHINO

Adam Cole lined up a huge challenge for his “best buddy” Jay Briscoe in the form of “The Man Beast” RHINO. Rhino has long been notorious for his services as a hired gun to anyone who needed a problem solved quickly and violently. And Adam Cole’s long standing rivalry with the World Champion is nothing if not violent! Jay Briscoe isn’t one to forgive OR forget - and it was a brutal GORE from Rhino that destroyed his shoulder over a year ago and ended his first ROH World Title reign. While The Kingdom seems to think this is going be the end of Jay Briscoe, the champ is ready to take out The Man Beast and spoil the party!

Apparently, this is just a few of Adam Cole’s ideas for the evening. He’s also promised a Women of Honor match full of “hot” female athletes and even invited CHEESEBURGER to join The Kingdom for the night! Additionally, he wanted to remind everyone reading that THEY are NOT invited to Michael Bennett’s Bachelor Party - but tickets are available for purchase. I wanna say shoot because this is too inside baseball (unintended Elgin joke) to really be a work. An Elgin heel turn over a work Visa mix-up doesn't sound very enthralling.

On the other hand: why would ROH just announce Elgin showing up at the All Star show if they didn't have his initial say-so?

Dave Meltzer thinks this is a work. Elgin was a heel in St. Louis Anarchy this weekend, so that could be practice for a heel run in ROH.

Still not sure what to make of this whole deal. I don't want to take the bait. I wouldn't be super upset if he was done in ROH, which is sad because I've been a big fan of his.

A little insight.

I first want to say thank you to all the supporters out there, it has been my pleasure to perform for you. I want to admit the quitting on twitter is a little childish but I don't want to be advertised for a show I won't be a part of. I will give kudos to ROH for rushing to get me back home, for that I am grateful. I had numerous conversations with the company about all situations that have occurred and told them my stance. I was trying to be business minded and was trying to reach a full understanding that would allow both parties to move forward. Nothing was agreed upon and instead of trying to reach an agreement they announced me for this weekends upcoming shows.

I would not have taken to twitter in this matter as I have held my tongue this entire time. I feel everything that has went down is between the parties involved and no one else. In all that I just don't want to have people thinking I'll be somewhere I won't be.

I love professional wrestling, I have given almost 14 years to it and wouldn't change it for the world. It's my passion and what has drove me to become the man I am today. I love and respect Professional wrestling with the upmost regard. Thank you for supporting it and please continue to do so.

Immature. ROH made the right call taking the title off of him. If he has a work visa through ROH and he quits ROH can he still legally work elsewhere? Not sure how that works.

Just about to bring that up. Legally he could not work for another company if ROH holds his visa (see the Angelina Love situation from a few years back) but this is wrestling and it is never above board.

.....yeah this is gonna break him (no pun intended) or take him to the next level. But the biggest platform he could shoot would be on Dragon Gate/Evolve.
I want to say it's a work, that Elgin wouldn't be that stupid, but from past interviews and tweets, he isn't very Smart. Isn't he under contract? Also he pretty much called them bitches, let's say it is a work, are they trying to recreate the Kevin Steen hates ROH angle?
