His favorite WrestleMania moment: “When Rowdy Piper, Randy Savage, Razor Ramon and Lex Lugar carried me around the ring … “ I'm surprised no one has accused Bret of being a mark for himself yet with this comment.

What is it with the old guard and McGillicutty? Haitch is high on him, he's the guy Rock and Lesnar trained with, now this? Either this is nepotism at it's finest (in which case, why not Rhodes or Steamboat) or he's a hell of a lot better - I mean miles - than he presents himself on TV.

Go home Bret, you're drunk. On his way home he's sure to encounter 2 or 3 women that tell him how handsome he is, and how they want to have sex with him. Post HoF lovemaking, he'll then see a few people that tell hin how his matches cured their leprosy.

I was expecting Bret to pick himself to end the streak. Or at least Tyson Kidd. At least I can kind of see his appeal, more than I can say for McGillicutty.

Who are you to doubt Michael McGuillicutty?!
(I'm shocked no one's made this joke yet.)

McGillicutty really just needs to go by Joe Henning and be a reincarnation of his father's gimmick. The dude has talent, I really like his work in the ring. I wish I had more to add but I just think its that simple. Agree 100%. If they want to trademark his name, I'd settle for Michael Hennig.

Well to be fair in the ring he's pretty good from what I've seen, but when he picks up a microphone is where it all falls apart into the trash (Genesis of McGillicutty anyone?).

That suggestion just negated Bret's two decades worth of amazing work.

I think McGillicutty might be holding these wrestlers' families hostage or something, with all the praise he gets.
And the only reason he doesn't get pushed is because Vince is a cold bastard who doesn't give a shit about hostages.

Seriously? When I first read this I thought it was a joke. Bret, you really are out of touch and I as previously stated on this board think you are a complete moron and mark for yourself at this point
(Also his favorite Wrestle Mania moment does not mean he is a mark, that was a sick moment in wrestling.) In my opinion
Back to the comment. I just do not understand it one bit. Bret could not logically argue that.

Goldberg's kick to the head did more damage than we thought.
Maybe Ryback needs to kick him on the other side in order to set him right.

I'll sum up his comments in a numerical form.
4/10.

In the ring he's pretty damned good. Not at a Bryan/Cena/Punk level but can really get in there with anyone and put on a solid to good match. On the mic he's better than anyone expects but will probably never live down the Genesis of McGuillicutty stuff which is sad since it was all on the fly to stall for time while Vince was getting everyone together for the show ending brawl (also a late add in). However in no way should he even be in the conversation to end the streak unless he really meant Mania 50.

In the short time I've been a complete wrestling fan I've seen some pretty amazing repackages, turning people I hated into one of the major reasons I tuned in. I won't doubt McGillicutty is capable of the same until he retires, even then he's gotta get really awesome really fast to end Takers streak.

Well I'm on board with this plan. I'm sure that by the time McGillicutty is 54 years old, he'll be ready for the torch to be passed. By then we'll be to the Revelations of McGillicutty. Look out Taker! 41-1 looks to be in your future!,

Joe Hennig is 33 and has yet to prove anything to the world, except for being vastly inferior to his father in just about every way. It's kind of silly that he's in any way a breakout star. I mean, while WWE did make him change his name (it's a dumb name, but in a way I think it was a means of protecting him from comparisons between him and his father), they did try to make him a sympathetic character early on in NXT, but the fans didn't care, at all. Then they stuck a mic in his face and even more disappointment happened. His part in Nexus was forgettable and his tag team run was a disaster. THIS is the guy that Bret wants to end the streak next year?
Bret has to be trolling.

I'm pretty sure that by Wrestlemania 50 Undertaker will be a pile of dust. At least he will be if he continues to wrestle until then. But then, some disrespectful heel will dump the Undertaker dust onto somebody they just beat up. And that person will become the new Undertaker. And then they'll lose the streak. It's what Mark would've wanted.
