So from what I'm hearing, a lot of important people backstage are high up on Michael McGillicutty.....so why the hell isn't he doing anything?
No gimmick, no storyline, he hasn't wrestled on Raw since October. He's already 33 years old and has been with the WWE for nearly five years. Either do something with him or let him go already.

I mean, while WWE did make him change his name (it's a dumb name, but in a way I think it was a means of protecting him from comparisons between him and his father), That would be fine if they didn't also acknowledge on TV that he was Perfect's son. That made it all the more of a stupid name change because it neither protected nor capitalized on his family background. But back to the point at hand, it seems like he has a lot of people in his corner, so you've got to wonder what exactly is keeping them from pulling the trigger, Maybe this was a case of one promo killing an entire career... I don't really buy into anything that happened after the first four weeks of NXT's run to be career killing, because nobody except the hardest of hardcore fans really watched NXT to begin with after the first season. So long as the guy can get on TV and actually do something, though.

Well, you could say the same about Zack Ryder, who has friends everywhere from John Cena to Dolph Ziggler, yet he can barely get on TV himself. Same with Evan Bourne who prior to his injury, could barely get on TV unless he was in a tag match, being squashed, or both. Sometimes it's not enough to have friends in high places, it seems, unless those friends are the right people. Then again, if The Rock and Triple H aren't the right people, then who are?
