Anybody gotten the AOW site or iTunes to work yet? Nothing yet. It took about a week to sort it out last time he had issues. I'm expecting part 2 to be working Thursday either.

Looks like he's having issues again. I had to re-download part 1 after I finally got it today, not sure why it went away, but I now have both parts

I listened to both parts without a problem but had to unsubscribe. It kept downloading hundreds of episodes.

the sad thing is Colt's probably gonna follow these shows up with Cody Deaner or something Given that he's not had a single active WWE guest since Punk walked, and blown through most of the relevant ex-WWE guys and girls already, I don't expect to see any 'big' names any time soon. And I don't mean to disparage anybody working outside WWE, but those who have subscribed to him based on the Punk episodes aren't likely to stick around for the Adam Coles, Cliff Comptons, and Eric Youngs of this world.

Not all of them will stick around, but I think a surprising number of them will. That YouTube version of the initial Punk podcast has over a million views, and that's not even the only upload of it. Plus those who were actually able to download it as a podcast. I would guess that a large percentage of those listening to it for the first time (specifically to hear the Punk interview) will at least take a look at the list of previous episodes, and will check out the bigger name guests he's had on in the past. Once they have heard 5 or 6 episodes, it may get them hooked for the future. A million? Unlikely. But if even 100,000 of them end up as semi-regular listeners, then mission accomplished. As far as future guests are concerned, he has already shown that he will have a guest on for a return appearance, so even though he may have interviewed someone 3 years ago, enough time has passed that a follow up appearance would work.

Not sure if this has been posted in here, but I put it in the Punk thread in WWE & figured I should put it here too:
If anyone is still having trouble downloading the podcasts, they are all on tune in radio. I listened to the latest (227) on the app last night. Tune In allows you to stream on your phone & use it for something else at the same time. YouTube doesn't...

Some of the best podcasts are the less "relevant" guests, Gangrel was a good one.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm a bigger mark for Cliff than I am for Punk, and all three of his episodes are in my fave five, but for the casual listener he's not getting them to download on name value alone.

Probably true. I only started on the guys who's names I didn't know when I had 3 weeks of work to do and my boss had given me about 12 hours worth of projects to do, if I did them slowly. So I had a lot of time on my hands, I did enjoy them, but I needed the time to dive into them. Though I've actually found some of the name guys way more disappointing than indy guys I have no idea who they are. Guys like Smash, Luke, Shiek, those all sucked.

The poor person having to follow two very noteworthy CM Punk appearances is Dr. Tom Prichard. Available on Soundcloud, Stitcher, and presumably iTunes, as Colt's host site is only up to the first Punk show for some reason.

Colt turning the Cody Rhodes tweet into a positive spin was a nice touch, as was talking about JDR

I like Dr. Tom, I feel this one is going to be a good one. I guess no one really can follow Punk, but Dr. Tom I think is an interesting guy.

I look forward to hearing this one. Dr. Tom is an excellent choice to follow the Punk shows, as opposed to some random indy guy that most fans have never heard of.
