Not even the only major Mickie interview of the day - she's also on Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez.

I, on the other hand, am SUPER interested in Colt's podcast with Meltzer. Can't wait.

AOW 148: Demolition Smash Posted on May 22, 2013 by Administrator
Demolition is one of the best WWF tag teams of all time. Barry Darsow not only played the character Smash but had many different gimmicks throughout his career. Listen as different generations get together to talk wrestling. Plus, Jensen Karp joins in.

Why? It should be interesting as f***. I doubt him and Colt are real friends so from starters that's a blow to the quality. Secondly, when that man in spoilers speaks he sounds so dull and boring. Zero personality. His "stories" don't interest me a bit, so I'll skip that one for sure. Ravey Dichards and Bill Apter are about to have a third man join their Shield against listening. lol Apters was good though?

Colt talked with Quack on the Premium podcast about Repo man and how Quack loved that gimmick, and many of the hated early 90s gimmicks, and they talked about how Barry didn't want to talk about it, and Quack was told that Barry hates talking about it. And I felt Colt wanted to have a heart to heart with Barry about shitty gimmicks and Colt can relate to Barry's issue with Repo Man.

That Minnesota/Wisconsin accent just makes everyone from there sound so "simple." Smash sounds like a really nice guy though.

There are some awesome cooking podcast, I might not care about cooking but maybe should I listen to them just in case. Go Ravey Dichards.

AOW 149: Les Thatcher Posted on May 29, 2013 by Administrator
Wrestler, Promoter, Announcer, Trainer are just some of Les Thatchers jobs in pro wrestling. At 72 years old, Les is still a fixture in modern day pro wrestling. Colt and Les have known each other for years. Enjoy this fun pro wrestling convo.

If you go onto Colt's Vine, there's some fun videos from the zoo in Australia where he and Steen goof off.

This week's episode is already in my top 5 favorites of all time. My favorite part of the whole interview was Kevin and Colt's long discussion about PWG. They really did a good job discussing what it's like to go to the shows nowadays and just how unique and fun it is to attend these shows.

This episode was not kind to Jim Cornette or Ring of Honor. Then again, they were not kind to Colt Cabana.

Just finished listening to the first half of this interview and it's awesome.
Much like Jim Cornette, I could listen to Steen talk all day and never get bored.
I know the chances of it happening are slim to none, but if Colt had Cornetter on his show, I think it'd be great too!

Incredible episode loved the PWG, ROH/Cornette and Zoo stuff. I really want the Panda Bear Kevin Steen Enthusiast shirt, just a great fun idea. For how destructive and violent Steens character is, he comes across as a genuinely nice family man who is a compliment to dis business, and has not gained too big of a head of being the main indy guy for the past couple or so years.
It would be great to meet him. They mentioned the guy who met him and Excalibur who came over from Scotland just for a recent PWG show, and how blown away/happy they were about it. Being from England I would love to do this, it seems like an inviting and fun crowd where you can meet wrestlers in a more personal way after show maybe at the merch table. After I hope to go to Mania next year, I hope for my next US trip would be Califnornia even for a few days to see a show.
But back to the topic, the AOW is one of the most enlightened and seeing behind the curtains/scenes of indy wrestling that you can get and this is one of the reasons I can't dislike Colt.

I hung out with that guy from Scotland at ASW both nights. He was a really cool guy; his dedication to the company blew me away. His accent was a little thick though, but it kind of made him cooler for having it.
