I enjoyed it even if Striker is up his own arse a bit, him talking about him mentioning anti-Cena chanting from men made me miss him even if it was just pandering to smarks but I dont think it was just that, it just seems to be what he himself would be into.

Striker is an interesting guy, solid episode. And it's always great to have Punker on the opening segment.

One of the better episodes, Striker seems like a pretty cool guy.

Striker seems like a real bullshit artist. I'm starting to think he never worked for the WWE at all.

AOW 159: Portia Perez Posted on August 7, 2013 by Administrator
Portia Perez has traveled all over the world and is only in her mid 20′s. This Canadian ninja is a star in the SHIMMER promotion amongst others. Colt and her have a fun chat. Interesting back stories come out along with fun wrestling tales.
YUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS PORTIA~!

Good interview, but I NEED to know the Serena Deeb story.
Unless it was a kayfabe/rib thing. I dunno, maybe I misunderstood.

There were some good stories but the whole interview came off as a little awkward at times. I don't know whether it was because Portia is (self-admittedly) shy or whether they just didn't gel that well. There were a few awkward silences and a few of Colt's trademark verbal stumbles and stammers where his mouth doesn't seem to know what he's trying to say. However, on the whole it was a good one and Portia has certainly had an interesting career for someone so young, certainly wouldn't be adverse to hearing some more from some SHIMMER regulars.

Enjoyed the episode, especially since I had no idea who she was prior to this episode and a quick Google search.

Maybe Punk was there and constantly trying to bang her?

Maybe Punk was there and constantly trying to bang her? There was one awkwardly long pause and "um so" from Colt where I honestly thought he was about to say "um so are we gonna do this or what?" like he had been waiting to bang her the whole time.

Talk about a total comedown in quality of guest from week to week.

Talk about a total comedown in quality of guest from week to week. I like Portia, but hers was kinda dull and Miz's episode was far more interesting.

However, on the whole it was a good one and Portia has certainly had an interesting career for someone so young, certainly wouldn't be adverse to hearing some more from some SHIMMER regulars. I listened to her once on Breakfast With Chikara, and she was much more confident because she was in heel/kayfabe mode. I thought it was a great episode with colt, but I can see how she finds it awkard/different to talk not in character which in fairness is perfectly justifiable for her profession. I could see it most when she mentioned how she hates Deeb, and colt was thrown off a bit. I applaud Portia for keeping it old school, I know times are different, but even knowing everything is a work, after they're insanely brutal feud in shimmer, it would be odd to hear a story about Portia and Deeb hanging back having fun times in Eastern Europe.

Really good episode with Miz. I think we got a lot more of Mike and only small bits of Miz in the talk. He even said himself a couple times "this me as corporate spokesman speaking" when he would speak the company lines.
I think this is the first time I heard him speak out of character for longer periods. Not bad.
Liking how he asked Colt what's the deal with coming back to WWE.

No doubt Miz had lurked the forums here when people bring him up.
