I can't imagine listening to Miz talk for an hour, but out of respect for Colt, I guess I'm obligated to do it...

Miz interview was definitely a step up from the awkward Portia interview.
Seems like a nice guy, when he's not being a corporate spokesperson. Makes his story seem all the more heart warming for how far he's come.

This week's show is with Grado, a Scottish wrestler who Colt is facing on Sunday for Insane Championship Wrestling in Edinburgh.

To whoever didn't listen to the Miz interview, you should be ashamed and thank whatever deity you pray to that everything is archived.
Talks about working the Indies, being trained by Samoa Joe and Frankie Kazarian, almost touring with Zero-One, how the Dirt Sheet was Miz & Morrison's last chance to avoid the 'deavors, greater detail about the piece of chicken, and being regulated to midcard hell and why his work in 2012 before his movie filming was so subpar.
This is a damn good interview: I gotta admit I'm curious what Miz's "puroresu spot monkey" moves were that he recoils at so much.

It kinda turns Miz's commentary on his head. When he brags about being WWE Champ at 'Mania coming straight from reality tv, it's pretty much because he's the ultimate fan that saw a crack in the door for him to slip through. And against all odds he got to hold the precioussss brass ring in spite of the hurdles.
It's really the WWE ultimate American Dream story, and lucky for Miz he's earned a nice place on the roster for as long as his body holds out! Nah if Ric Flair's career is anything to go by Miz is gonna need to put in a few decades of official Figure Four use.
And oh crap doesn't the heel HHH fued with Miz just write itself btw? HHH or Randy should be the 'rightful' user of the F4 due to Evolution, and of course Randy would back Hunter up so there could be a WWE title shot possibility for Miz if the fued gets hot. Miz is so easy to book for if I just feel like randomly pushing him to the moon again-- he's not the worst "guy" to have in Cena's stead IMHO.

Loved the Miz episode, particularly that they managed to throw in a plug for AIW.

I don't know if the majority of fans will ever embrace Miz as a babyface, but the HHH/Orton/McMahon team recruiting him as seemingly the ideal corporate member only to do a DDP like turn on them (because like Bryan he's been told he doesn't belong/deserve being WWE Champion) would be a nice moment.

Miz came off like a nice, good-natured guy grateful for his life and not at all bitter about the things that haven't worked out.
No wonder CM Punk, and Colt to a lesser extent, don't really know what to make of him. He's basically the opposite of those two.

The ones with Striker, Steen, and Miz he just has a chip on his shoulder. But i like it. Guy could be the new Tom Zenk.

I have no doubt he's disappointed with how the WWE handled him, but that's understandable. Having said that, he seems to be doing just fine without them.

Having said that, he seems to be doing just fine without them. Most people would be bitter if they were fired from their dream job without being given a real chance to show what they can do. With that being said, Colt coped with that extremely well and the firing pushed him to new things and stuff he probably would've never explored without hitting that low point in his career, getting fired from WWE. If anything he deals with his bitterness in a comedic way, making fun of himself and everything around that situation. I never got a negative wibe from him whatsoever.

Oh not from wwe treating him bad though. Mostly from guys saying why arent you in "wwe" or steen trying to get him back in roh.
I get it his podcast his rules. Signs with somebody and he can't do shit he wants
