You really would think that after all these years someone would think not to leave those folding chairs so close to the ring, wouldn't you? But nonetheless, we have seen some pretty imaginative items used as supposed weapons in wrestling. I think my favorite would actually have to be that chest padding that D-Lo Brown wore for a year or two during his Nation days. It looked no more dangerous than an umpire's chest pad, yet his opponents had to sell it line they'd been slammed by a brick. Personally I keep waiting to see someone use a cricket bat.

I always mark for people being hit with guitars. It makes for an awesome moment when the guitar either explodes on impact or just remains stuck around the victim's neck as they fall to the mat.

Paul E. Dangerously's GIGANTIC 80s cell phone. He actually needs to bring that thing back.

I go for the old foreign object hidden in the trunks. Savage/Santana style.

I thought i saw a gif where a wrestler used Thor's hammer Mjolnir in a match and caused everybody in the ring to fall to the ground after he hit the mat with it.

I remember that in TNA back in 2010, Doug(las) Williams beat Shannon Moore after hitting him in the head with a BRICK. I thought it was hilarious.

Tojo Yamamoto, in the old Memphis Territory, would pull off a shoe to use as a weapon. If he were in his wrestling gear, we wore big wooden shoes to the ring, and if he were in street clothes, he wore a dark suit with thick, black wingtips. In either case, opponents were deathly afraid when he'd approach with a shoe in one hand, and immediately tried to flee the ring. And, when Tojo actually connected with a shoe, they sold it like a nuclear blast. Lance Russell sold the shoes perfectly, suggesting Tojo would be arrested for using a "deadly weapon" after the match. Great stuff.

When was the last time somebody hid a weapon in their tights?

I've always been a fan of Regal using the brass knucks.

I know Edge and Positively Kanyon have used a brick in the past, the former hiding his in the Money in the Bank briefcase, and the latter hiding it in a hollowed out copy of DDP's book.

Edge once beat Chris Benoit by taking a brick out of his MitB briefcase and hitting him with it. I also thought it was hilarious. EDIT: Of course it was in the post right before mine. Still, my vote goes to brick.
