Paige is in no danger whatsoever. They're releasing people who appear to be going nowhere in the system - Paige has recently been on WWE house shows, so there's interest in bringing her up relatively soon. Same goes for Wyatt, Neville, Graves, Ohno and Emma. How can anyone go anywhere? NXT is a one hour show, and they're constantly bumping main roster talents down there because THEY aren't being used properly either. There's no room for any developmental talents showcased when Sandow, Cesaro, Riley, 3MB, Shield, Kidd, Gabriel, PrimEpico, etc. are on NXT every other week. And anyone they do have just shows up to get killed by The Shield 3 on 20. |

To be fair, it's not like these guys are banned from WWE forever. There's always a chance they can come back down the line.

He was never used, which I thought was strange given Ziggler's stock rising gradually. Bateman though? Dude had DBry as his pro. Dude had the last season of NXT, admittedly a joke, though he was still a top guy on there. Dude also had a few lengthy matches on the revised NXT - he could have been given more as far as main roster stuff, and I do see a bit there, but he's had the chance to make someone notice. For one reason or another, they didn't notice. I just disagree that this particular person was never given a chance to impress. I guess what I mean to convey is - if they have to release someone, Bateman is not the worst choice. |

There have been a few guys like Chris Masters, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Idol Stevens/Sandow, and Ryan Reeves/Ryback, but I feel like the whole "released and later came back" is the exception and not the rule. |

Seems odd to get rid of Briley, he's only just shown up on the TV show and didn't seem that bad, you'd think there'd be some role for Ziggler's brother even if it is just a brief run in Dolph's version of the Edgeheads.
I suppose Audrey has been eclipsed by other NXT divas so it's understandable she's been released.

I posted an idea a few years ago where Briley's gimmick could be a Dolph Ziggler Superfan. Like his gimmick would be a mix of heel Ricardo Rodriguez, Edgeheads, Talk About Wade Barrett Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry's trash talking.
