Jinder Mahal- He doesn't fit in with his current gimmick, and never was really that over.
John Cena- Because it'd force the WWE to get creative again.
The asshole behind the WWE App- because.

This honestly says you are upset at majority of the posters in this thread not caring for a favorite of yours. We all have what we like and dislike. I apologize if I wasn't clear, I'm just talking about the people who say orton is pointless, because I don't find someone who is over and can put on good matches to be pointless, that's all. I know what it's like to have to defend my favorites against people who don't like him. Yes, Orton is over and can put on good matches, but that doesn't mean he isn't interchangeable with anyone else who is over and can put on good matches. And those guys are treated as lesser talents than Randy Orton simply because Randy Orton is Randy Orton. I don't think it's right for Randy Orton to beat Cody Rhodes in a meaningless match for no reason other than simply being Randy Orton, and then for guys like Justin Gabriel, Alex Riley, or Zack Ryder to be fed to Cody so that he can get his heat back and be built up just to lose to Orton all over again. Like I said, Orton's current position and booking is keeping everyone else stagnant. He isn't being used properly in a way that benefits anyone. All those clean jobs he did are in the past. He's further down the card now, but WWE feel the need to protect him for no reason and it isn't helping.

1] Hornswoggle - Even I can't stand the little bastard.
2] Evan Bourne - The guy's been hurt like, forever.
3] The Bellas - A package deal with two of the most useless divas ever.

Randy Orton - strange because I think he's a great wrestler and he's very over with the crowd, but I would love for him to go away, partly because he seems like he wants to go away, and his whole schtick has worn pretty thin.
Triple H - yes on-screen only of course, he's got an amazing mind for dis bizniss etc.
Vince McMahon - I think the product would be more focused and logical without him at the helm
Honorable mentions:
Kevin Dunn (with Vince gone he won't be so powerful) Jerry "stupid" Lawler Da Bellas Jack Swagger Alberto Del Rio

Hornswoggle - He makes WWE look carny. His appearances are universally terrible and have been detrimental to careers and titles and he's usually used as the cheap blowoff whenever WWE can't be bothered thinking their stories through to a proper conclusion. A midget could serve a useful purpose in WWE but not as bearded toddlers with magical powers.
The Bellas - I'm sick and tired of WWE divas playing the bitchy "don't even go there/talk to the hand/rolling eyes/that girl is fat" character. It's tired and stale. There's nothing useful about these two other than being twins, and how many more times can they do the "twin magic" switch before WWE realise it's been done to death?

Just like someone like Alex Riley has value to the company if used correctly so does Orton. Either use him as the gatekeeper to legitimize heels (Like Curtis Axel for example) or a main eventer. Plus it's not only orton that does that, the wwe has a philosophy of booking their top faces to beat mid card heels. Fella does it, Del Rio does it as well and Y2J on occasion as well. So just removing Orton won't stop them from doing that. I don't like that they do this, but it's not just an orton issues, it's the wwe issue.

Triple H - as an onscreen character only. he literally adds nothing to the product anymore, his current angle feels hokey and tiring, and the time he wastes on screen can be better used going to someone else. seriously, he's in Brett Favre territory now.
Jerry Lawler - I'm not sure whether it's sad or pathetic that the only time he's entertaining is when he's cracking jokes about his own heart attack.
Rey Mysterio - his knees are held together with Elmer's Glue and Tinker Toys. he spends more time injured than active, and keeping him around just for some farcical "torch passing" to another guy who probably won't last is just ridiculous.

- Jerry Lawler (both because he sucks and so he wont risk wrestling another match) I think keeping him in the WWE would keep him away from the ring more... you cut him loose and he's free to his own devices I think it's only a matter of time until he tries to get himself some indy bookings. (maybe for more money depending on how smart he was with his) He is free to take indy bookings with WWE. He's got a 6 Man Tag in Dory Funk's promotion this weekend I think.

Yeah, but I would think without the WWE commitments he'd be taking more indy bookings than he currently is.

Kevin Dunn Kevin Dunn Kevin Dunn yeah, this. I was thinking there were probably a few guys I'd want to get rid of. But over all I'd just rather see more of some people rather than wanting anyone gone.

1. Whoever is responsible for the piss poor time management (particularly WM) and booking the Royal Rumble. 2. Ric Flair 3. Swagger - Sucks the life out of everything
I thought about Bo and Khali but I'd just change the way they're used rather than get rid of them, poor Khali shouldn't take any more bumps.

Get rid of Del Rio and give Ricardo to Sin Cara as a mouthpiece.
Get rid of Wade Barrett and have Damien Sandow do everything that Wade has been doing, especially feuding with Miz.
Get rid of R-Truth and don't replace that spot he is in. That spot between midcarder and main eventer where you are stuck fighting Tons of Funk should not exist. Make Tons of Funk fight jobbers like Riley and Ryder, either to build up the jobbers or make Tons of Funk look badass.

Make Tons of Funk fight jobbers like Riley and Ryder, either to build up the jobbers or make Tons of Funk look badass. I disagree that R-truth's current spot should not be replaced. For the undercard, Truth's position is perfect. A guy who doesn't necessarily win titles or even appear on TV every week but is still over and still has credibility. You mention Riley. That's the spot Riley SHOULD be in right now, essentially being the "top face" of the lower card, going over most of the time except against main eventers and pet projects which should be kept to a minimum. Part of the problem with Riley's booking is that he is too over and thus WWE can't keep him away from the people they're trying to push for the sake of giving them some kind of rub. This leads to Riley being thrown into scenarios where he HAS to lose and his credibility being hammered into the ground. They throw him a bone by putting him in 10 minute clinics against uppercarders on Superstars, but any momentum he gains is pissed away when he's jobbing cleanly to an NXT talent. R-Truth is never used in this capacity. He's fairly protected and even when he goes against the Flavor of the Month, he generally comes out of it looking strong. You don't see Truth being jobbed out to bottom of the barrel guys on NXT (Hell, as badly as WWE treats Zack Ryder, you don't see him jobbing to NXT'ers either). R-Truth's position is ideal. And if you got rid of Truth, WWE should push someone into that role, and a guy like Alex Riley or Justin Gabriel is the perfect fit.

Triple H - He's old and useless in the ring. The crowd doesn't seem to care about him like he obviously thinks they should. He's not a legend on par with Hogan or Stone Cold, no matter how much he wants to be. Hunter is better off behind the scenes. Kevin Dunn - The living embodiment of everything wrong with WWE. He's been there about 20 years too long. The Miz - He would make a good reality TV show host or something. But he's not any good as a pro wrestler. Yeah, I'm not an Orton fan. He bores me to tears. But he must have something special, because the majority of WWE fans seem to love the guy. It would be crazy to release him.

HHH - While there is no doubt that he is doing wonders behind the scenes however on screen he is boring the piss out of me so lets just give him that standing ovation so he can go away.
Ric Flair - If I never have to see that old bastard ever again on WWE TV I will die a very happy man,.
Jerry Lawler - for 12 years he has been stinking up the joint his pervy wanker commentary. Time to give someone else a go.

Triple H - only an active roster role, I read things about what he does behind the scenes and it makes me like the guy, then I see him on TV where he just underwhelms me with anything he does anymore
Jack Swagger - the fact he get paid more than many others who both outperform him and are much more over just pisses me off
Randy Orton - I'm actually a fan of the guy, and almost didn't list him, but to be fair, he has his youth still, yet has accomplished everything there is to do in the company, he'll never be the "guy" so any point where he wins the belt back won't mean anything because it's just giving him something to do, whereas someone like Christian who I also like can take the spot Orton has now and run with it more because he isn't some guy who won the title 8 times in 4 years.
