If only Hardy would have won. Ehh maybe he'll be the one to take it off Sabin. Angle vs Roode was awesome. Magnus vs Sting... well Sting's shirt was cool. At least the titles are off Storm and Gunner. Hopefully Storm goes back in the spotlight where he belongs. Good for Gail. EC3 is cool. AJ vs Bully had nice spots, good for AJ! Overall not that good of a ppv, but I guess good for TNA. How in ANY WAY is this show good for TNA, it was a crap show that has pissed off more people than Battleground. And who would have thought TNA would do that, mainly because who knew people would BUY the PPV! Pissed off more people than Battleground? You're giving TNA too much credit. I bet there were more people happy with Battleground than people who watched BFG in total.

I would ask who's making the "f*** TNA" thread this year but...what's the point? It's like kicking a blind man that just got diagnosed with cancer, you know? So what you're saying is Bully would do it?

I had fairly low expectations going into this show and it still went way below them. Damn.

The show was actually pretty good, I will say. Matches in order from best to worst.
1. Bobby Roode vs Kurt Angle - Great match, great psychology and hell, Taz was great on commentary, possibly the most shocking part of the whole show.
2. Bully Ray vs AJ Styles - Great match and win for AJ. I loved how Aces and 8s came out and ended up not doing anything for Bully Ray. Great match and win, despite Dixie Carter being terrible.
3. Gunner & Storm vs BroMans - A surprisingly good match here, I actually was cheering for the BroMans to pull off the win here. I'm not much of a fan of the Gunner and Storm team, and the Modern Day Viking nickname sounds terrible. I feel that $5 Wrestling should have a wrestler called the Modern Day Viking, but actually be a viking.
4. Ultimate X - Shocking win from Sabin, and I'm slowly starting to take to him as a heel. Maybe his heel run could help get him back into World Title contention.
5. Magnus vs Sting - An ok match, the biggest problem was Magnus potentially turning heel. TNA can't go one show without screwing something up it seems.
6. Ethan Carter III vs Norv Pernum - I don't get the name and I feel there's a joke there. However, I thought this was a great jobber match. Ethan looked good and this Norv guy makes a good underdog comedy jobber. I hope they keep him around, and Ethan is the only thing that can make Dixie Carter look decent.
7. ODB vs Gail Kim vs Brooke Tessmacher - Usually, the KO matches in TNA can be decent, especially with girls like ODB and Gail Kim in the ring, but this match seemed pretty dead and it probably didn't help following the surprisingly good tag title match.

With only a slight bit of hyperbole last year's BFG was Wrestlemania 17 compared to this show.

What were people's main issues with the show. The biggest piss off of the show was a potential Magnus heel turn. Dixie was bad but tolerable. What were the main issues with the show, besides "it sucked".

I think just letting Daniels/Kaz win the opener and the tag title match would've done a whole lot for the reception of this show. What were people's main issues with the show. The biggest piss off of the show was a potential Magnus heel turn. Dixie was bad but tolerable. What were the main issues with the show, besides "it sucked". My biggest problem was that my favorite guys (Joe, Daniels, Aries) barely got any time or any cool stuff to do. I thought that most of the show was not fun to watch.

Firstly can I watch whatever show you watch cause it sounds much better than the shite I saw and secondly if you are lying TNA should offer you a job as lead announcer cause you seem better at faking it than Teney did. Teney sounded like he was going to just walk out of the arena and keep walking

I think just letting Daniels/Kaz win the opener and the tag title match would've done a whole lot for the reception of this show. A show this ridiculous and overbooked would need more than just Bad Influence to salvage it, but starting off on such a sour note did hurt quite a bit.

What were the main issues with the show, besides "it sucked". It made it seem like TNA was incapable of booking a professional wrestling show. Really, it did. Every finish? Horrible. The booking? HIGHLY questionable in several places. The crowd was dead for most of the show. Everything about this show screamed low-rent.

I think it was definitely a situation where the whole was less than the sum of its parts. Any positives were drowned out in the dire atmosphere. It's like WWF In Your House: It's Time from December 1996, which I've always felt to be a sad and depressing PPV.

Every match bar Magnus vs Sting had some weird ass finish to it that either the crowd didn't get or didn't like and around the time the time Magnus vs Sting started the crowd clearly gave up trying to care.

Firstly can I watch whatever show you watch cause it sounds much better than the shite I saw and secondly if you are lying TNA should offer you a job as lead announcer cause you seem better at faking it than Teney did. Teney sounded like he was going to just walk out of the arena and keep walking Well, I'll try to use some logic into why I liked somethings. The Ray/Styles match I felt was good because even though they had a few run ins and stuff, it all seemed small and seemed to build toward something, with Bully Ray eventually taking the big loss. Roode vs Angle, a great story told in the beat up veteran losing because he did a dangerous move and hurt himself, after Roode worked on his neck the whole match. The Tag Title match was very good I thought and the crowd was pretty into it. EC3 and Norv Pernum/Peter Avalon from PWG wasn't going to be a blockbuster match, but it did its job, and I'm hoping that Norv sticks around. I can see the Ultimate X having issues because it was a bit jumbled having the 5 guys in the ring at the same time, and it wasn't like other Ultimate X matches in the past. This is also true with having 3 awesome main event talents like Joe, Aries and Hardy almost wasted, so I can see why this probably got some hate. ODB/Kim/Tessmacher was kinda boring and Sting vs Magnus had a potentially horrible heel turn, which I would call the worst part of the pay per view. Angle turning down the Hall of Fame was ok and Abyss returning was ok too. So I guess with that logic, I don't see too many problems with the show, other then disappointments in Joe, Aries and Hardy not getting to do more and the Magnus heel turn.

I didn't find the crowd dead though...with the notable exception of Magnus/Sting.
