Bitch Planet #2 is really, really good. I wasn't 100% sold off #1, but the second issue is some artfully done 70s scifi space prison GOODNESS. NONCOMPLIANT. There's a sequence where a prison riot breaks out in the background of a scene that is just amusing as hell.
Rasputin #4: this book gets better with each issue. There's something about the cohesion of artist/writer in this book that really just meshes in a way that I haven't seen in a while. I was pretty knocked back by how much this issue spoke to me.
I read the second issue of They're Not Like Us and its still not really grabbing me that hard. Its solid, for sure, but I doubt I'll keep reading it. The arts really nice though. I hope that guy finds more work.

I really, really liked The Dying and The Dead. Nice to see Hickman has plenty of creative juices despite leading Marvel to it's biggest crossover.
And of course, Multiversity was awesome. I never spend money on guidebooks, but I knew Morrison would make it worth my while.

I'm curious if anyone here has followed Green Lantern and GL Corps post Johns' and Tomasi's runs. I'm mainly interested in the Uprising story, and whether people had any thoughts on it.

Yeah they're very good There's been 3 Major stories so far - Lights out = Awesome - Uprising = decent and has some neat "shock" moments, And as a Pre flashpoint reader answered a question that annoyed me for years - Godhead = Awesome Currently it's just dealing with Godhead's events It's helps to read the other Lantern books Which are also great

Lights out seems difficult since the individual titles don't seem to include the whole story. Uprising though is collected in both GL and GLC vol 5. From what I've heard about both stories, I'm more interested in Uprising. I'm curious over how much of the buildup to that story adds to it, or whether I can happily jump headfirst into it. I've also got all of Charles Soule's Red Lanterns stuff though. Mainly because it's great, and I just love Soule's work. But I don't really have any interest in New Guardians though.

It's pretty easy to jump into Just know that after "Lights out" the GLC is in a shit state {Spoiler}Relik destroys OA and the GLC use Mogo as home base

I thought everything post-writing changes was crap until Godhead (Red Lanterns being the exception).

RUMBLE #2: Book's really picking up. Like with Bitch Planet, the first issue didn't hook me that hard, but I'm really digging the second issue. Surprise to no one, Arcudi has the comedic timing to make the bizarre seem hilarious.

Quite enjoying the Spider-Man daily newspaper comics...the focus on MJ's b-movie career (she even got a few weeks all to herself in the spotlight), Mysterio actually figuring out Peter's i.d, Peter getting injured saving his wife in his plain ol' civilian guise. Good stuff.

One of the coolest Ross covers in a while. And if that's accurate, Secret Wars is going to be REALLY fun with Ultimate Reed and The Cabal.
