And, I say that as a major fan of hers in the ring. I think she have the money back. |

I'm really asking here. Is CHIKARA still a thing? Did I hear that Mike Quackenbush is no longer involved? I don't really follow the indies that closely, but this is the last thing I heard about CHIKARA.

It's just doing a rather ambiguous, fairly meta, viral game style storyline right now that's heavily dividing the fanbase. Quackenbush is "retired", CHIKARA is "dead", and so on. Meanwhile WWE has a midget wrestler in a bull outfit paired with Matadores and WWE has a wrestler with a cobra sock puppet which is influenced by Indian flutes playing 'Snake Charmer' music. Not to mention this man with the cobra sock putter hangs out with a giant and a little person. At least the spirit of Chikara is still alive in some ways. |

I wouldn't necessarily call that the spirit of CHIKARA. But I get what you mean.
I don't know, I'm enjoying it, it's definitely something different. And, the Wrestling Is shows essentially substitute any missing CHIKARA shows for the year, more or less.
I am interested as to what they have planned for the next season though. After all this hype, after all this build, it's got to be something big.

So if you went and filled out your info on the SaveCHIKARA website, check your mail in the coming weeks. They are sending a care package. But while a sticker and a comic is cool, something else is interesting.  I suck at finding coordinates, haha. |

This is interesting... Coincidental timing after the backlash he's got on Twitter recently for comments he's made about female wrestlers, particularly LuFisto.
