May have mentioned this before, but I hate this whatever-it-is. Last year I finally got to see CHIKARA live, and before they could come back again, they decide on this nonsense. I just want CHIKARA back, I don't want to go watch three guys from CHIKARA and a bunch of people I've never heard of.

Wink Vavasseur's Twitter silence has been broken. He sounds very depressed, has been out of touch with his family (can't face them), and doesn't think anyone's interested in what he has to say.
I feel bad for him. Sounds like Conrad's consistently done quite the job on his self-esteem. Right now I'm torn between wanting to reach through my monitor to hug him and wanting to reach through my monitor to punch Conrad in the face.
I may be able to get him to open up re: the events of June 2nd. I sent him a politely-worded tweet saying that he may be the only one capable of shedding light on just what happened. I got a response: "...I made a poor judgment." I've replied asking about that, going to see if I can get a response.

This is interesting... Coincidental timing after the backlash he's got on Twitter recently for comments he's made about female wrestlers, particularly LuFisto. Fill us in... He just makes snidey comments in general, and most of them are about LuFisto. In particular, he posted some tweets shortly after LuFisto got injured at WrestleMania weekend that were pretty vile, and when she tried to move to Florida (it didn't work out), there was some more not-exactly friendly stuff coming her way from him. There was an article about it written by a friend of mine, but it's written with some bias, so I'm not going to post it here. |

What the fact that Lufisto tried to get her work visa and a move to the US by fan donation and then she didn't go through with the move? If I was a Canadian wrestler that'll piss me off too. Its not even about Lufisto it about fans willing to give their money to wrestlers for nothing instead of to charity. He's got a point. |

With his constant agressive tone & the way he purposefully insults female wrestling & every single female wrestler, and yet follows/is still followed by a good bunch of them, it always seemed to me that Shane was tweeting in character. A very annoying, loud-mouthed, misogynistic character, but a character nonetheless. |

What's Jagged going to do without him I wonder. Will it be one of those cases where a wrestler's tag team partner retires/gets injured/dies/otherwise is not in the business and the remaining partner fades into obscurity or what? Has he commented on this at all?
This stuff in the thread is all I know about the situation by the way. I don't have a twitter to follow wrestlers on and any information I get about indy wrestling gossip and that sort of thing usually comes from this forum.

Also, going by what some other Canadian wrestlers have had to say about LuFisto over the years...
...Even if Shane was in character, even ignoring how LuFisto essentially stole fans' money, his tweet might've been justified.
And, I say that as a major fan of hers in the ring.
