The LA Dodgers are the baseball version of Road Warriors.
Is Yasiel Puig Hawk or Animal?

The LA Dodgers are the baseball version of Road Warriors. Is Yasiel Puig Hawk or Animal? Yasiel Puig is Hawk. He no-sells every injury and collision and with his limited English skills, all he has to say is "WAAAYYYYLLL...".

Can Chris Perez also get a lifetime ban? If ever there was a place for the "YOU HAD ONE JOB!" meme...

travis_Waldron: Curt Schilling on A-Rod: "This wasn't a mistake. It was a life choice." Which category does "bilking Rhode Island taxpayers" fall under?

Who the f*** listens to Schilling anyway. The dude is a straight up mark for himself and cares about absolutely no one. Hes just a giant prick with a shitty mind for baseball. He pretty much undermines every single player he talks about and just like Tedy Bruschi on ESPN is so biased to Boston its f***ing sickening. I really hate Schilling.

Speaking of Boston and bias, the Boston Globe was recently purchased by John W. Henry, who also owns the Red Sox. Talk about a conflict of interest. It's like a complete inversion of the Chicago Tribune buying the Cubs. Who the f*** listens to Schilling anyway. The dude is a straight up mark for himself and cares about absolutely no one. He is an expert at wasting gifts and also being a colossal douche.

It's like a complete inversion of the Chicago Tribune buying the Cubs. Yeah, Red Sox coverage is going to be very, uh, slanted in the future. John Henry bought the Boston Globe, Fenway Sports Group has an 80 percent ownership stake in NESN, WEEI broadcasts the Red Sox games, and the Boston Herald has a deal with WEEI that allows its columnists to go on their programming. I may be wrong, but to my knowledge the only major local media outlet with no ties to the Red Sox, John Henry or Fenway Sports Group are Comcast SportsNet and The Sports Hub.

Yeah. I mean, the Yankees have YES (which Fox owns a rather large share of now and likely a majority soon, but still) and the Mets have SNY in this town. But the papers and other media outlets like WFAN are at least independent at least as far as baseball goes. Hell, YES usually simulcasts Mike Francesa's radio show on WFAN and while he's an admitted Yankee fan he can be really critical of them. In his usual yelling and screaming fashion.

But the papers and other media outlets like WFAN are at least independent at least as far as baseball goes. Which is precisely why Red Sox coverage in Boston was so abhorrent last season. There was a team that was owned by out-of-touch morons (still largely the case), managed by an idiot, consisting of a roster of overpaid, underachieving, out-of-shape crybabies that richly deserved to be roundly criticized on a daily basis for the way they were performing, yet outside of The Sports Hub or CSNNE, it was all sunshine and rainbows as the team plummeted to new lows. Hell, it wasn't until the Greatest Trade That Ever Happened last August that those firmly entrenched in the Red Sox camp finally started to say, "Y'know, something might be wrong with the way this team was constructed."

But as a competitor, I loved the guy. And to date, no proof whatsoever that he ever cheated. Sorry, he does have the right to speak out on it

SPEAKING OF UNABASHED HOMERS AND A COMPLETE INABILITY TO PROVIDE BALANCED COVERAGE...
I've said the point a million times, but it bears repeating: my version of Hell is an eternity spent having John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman narrate my life.
There honestly might not be two people worse at their jobs on this planet than Sterling and Waldman.

"There's a lot of people standing and cheering." What?
I don't think he used PED's, though I wouldn't be surprised if he was on that Secret List Of Names that A-Rod was on (which was unfairly leaked when everyone else still has been allowed to stay anonymous. I think if one name is revealed, they should all be). I'm just saying he saved all his cheating until after he was done with baseball.

Red Sox starting a knuckleball pitcher in his first start with a catcher that clearly has no idea how to catch a knuckleball.
4 passed balls in the first inning.

Bryce Harper may be the biggest douche bag in the league. Guy gets hit by a pitch and wants to pretend he's a fighter.
