So is Tejada going to claim that Rafeal Palmiero gave him a Tic-Tac that turned out to be amphetamines?

God, I hate watching Fox's baseball coverage.
McCarver: "Fans at home are probably wondering about the infield fly rule. It wasn't in effect here because it was deemed not to be an easy play"
No, Tim. It wasn't the infield fly rule because it was hit into the outfield, you senile ass

It can even be caught by an outfielder provided it was also deemed to be "easily playable" by an infielder

So Strasburg just threw three consecutive wild pitches and was ejected. Can't say I've seen that one before.

Brian Wilson (elbow) will likely be activated by the Dodgers on Sunday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.

I'd like to see somebody still argue that Miguel Cabrera isn't the best hitter in baseball.

Miguel Cabrera hits the walk-off homerun, because of course he does.

Any chance he overtakes Davis Honestly, I don't think so. Davis isn't slowing down, and Miggy's playing hurt right now.

Funny, though I will admit my first thought when I read the Tejada news was "So does this mean Raffy was telling the truth?" He says Tejada gave him a "B12" shot, and that he never juiced. Everyone calls bullshit on that since, you know, everybody else knew what they were doing. Then Tejada gets busted for trafficking and using. Now he's busted for a second offense, albeit for speed this time. Circumstantial, sure, but something that kinda stuck in my mind.

Scott Hairston was ejected in the ninth inning of Saturday's game for arguing balls and strikes.
It was the third ejection of the game for the Nats, who had Stephen Strasburg and manager Davey Johnson thrown out in the second inning.
