So, Bryan is stripped of the title tomorrow and we have a big tournament that leads him down the hardest path, concluding at the next PPV, right? That'd be a lot cooler than just scheduling another Bryan/Orton rematch for the next PPV, which is probably what's going to happen. Only this time, Hunner is the guest ref.

What was the ending? Ref bump and fast count?

Very strange ending. Like real strange. It almost felt like they forgot about the last few weeks. I figure they'll do something tomorrow about the fast count, but I wonder if time constraints is the reason. That was my thoughts too. What if Armstrong was told they have to end it like...now and to get it done with ASAP. But surely with the celebration time, he could have counted at a regular pace. Hell Orton didn't even try and kick out after the pin as many do with a fast count. He was still down and rolled out the ring afterwards in a heap. I'm kind of hoping that it ends up being that Armstrong was also getting fed up with Triple H beating down Daniel Bryan and did this as a way to end the torture for him in a really poorly thought out move. I don't really dig the ending, I want them to milk Bryan's big win longer, but they've given away Bryan's big moment twice now and am a little worried that they're killing the buzz for when he gets it for real.

In all seriousness, a fast count is the fastest way to screw Bryan. Orton wasn't going to kick out of a true three count if Bryan hit the Running Knee, so maybe Scott Armstrong was instructed to count fast so they could screw Bryan later. That would make the most sense. I agree. But the fact JBL didn't even make a fuss of it tells me that maybe it was meant for time reasons. Something doesn't seem right unless we're meant to not notice it until tomorrow. Like we're all supposed to have an enlightenment moment or something.

I really wish Bryan would've just won the title at Summerslam and not been marred by all this. He had a great year-long build from beating Kane last year at SS and the formation of Team Hell No, taking out the Shield, getting super over, beating Sheamus, beating Orton, beating Cena. This seems overkill if the goal is to "make" Bryan.

Maybe they looked at the time and panicked? The fact that there was no complaining from JBL is what's bugging me...as stupid as that sounds.

A time issue? What...the extra second it would've taken to count it right?

What was the ending? Ref bump and fast count? The ref bump happened halfway through the match, then another ref came in. Then the first ref came to and took over for the replacement. Then the match continued ahd Bryan won clean with his running knee, except for some reason Armstrong counted fast. It was pretty weird.

Just seems really bushleague to rush a three count to account for time. It's really not a time consuming thing and for me, if I was supposed to dig in and lose my shit for a big Title win, it just puts me on edge the whole time and I can't enjoy the moment. I have to believe commentary didn't say anything because they don't want to be obvious about the next phase of the story, either way this was really odd.

What was the ending? Ref bump and fast count? Not exactly. There was a ref bump, another ref immediately ran out, then the initial ref got up and sent him off. Then the match kept going for awhile but once Bryan hit the knee the pin was counted incredibly quickly.

How hilarious is it that the finish that most of us would never dreamed of happening, yet would be most positive for is because of the weird way it was done is met with an almost universal " ...huh.. ok then."

Countdown for IWC to hate D-Bry starts...nnnnnnnow! Considering that he'll be back to chasing by the end of tomorrow night in all likelihood, that's not even close to happening.

I really thought the double pin was coming the moment they showed the trainer helping Armstrong.

No. Outside the fast count....Bryan won clean as a whistle.

Nope, Triple H said at the start of the show there'd be no interference and there wasn't.
