Not exactly. There was a ref bump, another ref immediately ran out, then the initial ref got up and sent him off. Then the match kept going for awhile but once Bryan hit the knee the pin was counted incredibly quickly. Was there Shield interference and HHH shenanigans? The Triple H shenanigans was that he BANNED Shield interference. Except for the ref bump this was a 100% clean match.

Everybody had to be doing the exact same thing I was doing. "Ok, there's only about five minutes left, they better hurry with this ending... Ok I guess HHH is gonna meet him at the top of the ramp..Oh, uh, it's ending. Alrighty."

Damn it, enough with the goat stuff. He's not a midcard heel anymore. This is why he should've shaved the beard. The whole "this is who I am" thing makes no sense when his character grew the beard (to the extent that it became a running joke) because he snapped and "let himself go" after losing the World Title. He should've shaved it once he started further climbing the ranks. IMO, Goatface isn't any different than "Dog Faced Gremlin" at this point. His nickname could be Chicken Butt with how strong and credible they've been booking him.

Usually, when interference is banned, someone interferes anyway. Surprised that it didn't happen. I was half-expecting Big Show to get involved on H's orders, despite his earlier ruling.

Is he seriously leaving with the title? Huh, production logo. He is. Weeeeird."

I was expecting Cody myself. It is bizarre we didn't see either one of them tonight, given how much the hype video before the match featured both of them.

I was thinking of Cody actually helping Orton win, revealing that Trips got him his job back as a part of his regime.

They trained me to assume it's never over until that copyright logo on the bottom corner shows up. Sooner or later, they're gonna do something with that. Like show the graphic than suddenly 5 more minutes of crazy shit happening. That would be pretty funny.

This is a question I had from the moment Trips turned, How is Bryan supposed to win in kayfabe? There is nothing stopping Triple H from endlessly stripping bryan of the belt. Sounded like a fun ppv thou.

I remember at Survivor Series 2010 they showed the copyright graphic, but we had a few more minutes of John Cena apparently bidding farewell to WWE.

Vince was stripped of his position because he was letting things get personal again. Everything HHH is doing is in the pretext of being "good for business." If he just randomly strips Bryan of the title constantly, it would devalue the title and be a personal thing, neither of which is "good for business."

A lot of wacky booking. People were really happy that Bryan won, shame RVD failed to win the WHC, it was really cool seeing him live for the first time. Curtis Axel is super boring, they should never have him wrestle 40 some minutes on one show.

Y'know, this makes two straight PPVs where RVD's won a title match by DQ. Wonder if like with Ambrose he'll just ignore del Rio and go after Axel or something.

I really hate that finish because it didn't make sense. Bryan just finished WWEs biggest star with the running knee. Orton was laid out and actually sold the knee for a couple of minutes. From either angle, what was the point of the fast count? Bryan had him pinned with a normal three count there. Orton doesn't benefit from a quick count? What was the point of it? Just so they could drag the storyline out in a month long Dusty-Finish?
Sidenotes:
Why did Ryback wait so long to make the save? You would think if he was siding with Heyman he wouldn't have let him get his ass whipped that bad.
I wanted Sandow to cash it but I know it was t the right time. Cashing in on a heel is pretty much an instant face turn and he does not need that.

What if it comes out that if Orton appeared to be out, Armstrong had been instructed to fast count so that it could overturned?

I think this is a way to not have DBD look shitty from getting beaten up all those weeks. Indirectly addresses why Hunner can't just abuse his power. With the fast ref-count, Hunner's got a reason to jaw on all night and screw with Bryan. Otherwise, having people interfere on his behalf to screw with the result of a PPV main event would be "bad for business" and make it personal.
The last time a guy made it personal and didn't have the good sense to pretend like it wasn't, was Vince McMahon. The Board voted his ass out. Hunner's got to find a way to get the title off Bryan and make it to where Bryan doesn't want to fight for the WWE Title because he knows his place.
...or maybe I'm just jerking off.
EDIT: That also writes in a way for DBD and whomever joins him to win against The Hunner Administration.
