He's not a good wrestler. He can work a very good match but his style is sloppy, awkward and limited. He's shown he can pull of great matches time and time again and for that reason should be respected forever. He just looks awkward at times.

I think his bulky size sometimes makes him appear kinda clumsy when hitting certain moves. I think he could honestly do with slimming down a little, it could do him wonders.

Trim down and learn how to sell. Even Hogan sold, and even when hulked up and won, he looked like he had been through hell.

Also I think that if he were slimmer, his freaky retard strength moments would look that much more visually impressive. During the rapper phase (the first time that he lifted The Big Show), I think he was billed at 248, but that was back when weights were heavily exaggerated, so he was probably legit somewhere between 210 and 220-something during that time.

I don't know if yesterday was a''passing the torch'' moment, but if for some reason ended to be like that, I'll love the idea that in the end, after Bryan slapped him, cena was recognized as wrestler by the guy who represents the most traditional way of wrestling instead of an entertainer

I watched some of his '06 WWE title matches the other day. He had a reputation for being a sloppy wrestler for a reason, but there is a HUGE difference between his matches now and then. He's a polished pro now, who has put on a ton high quality matches.
Granted the WWE talent pool is a little stronger now. It's easier to have the match of the night with: Bryan, Punk, Ziggler than it was for a much greener Cena to wrestle: Khali, Umaga, (a bigger slower) Big Show, Batista, etc.

I find it baffling that people still doubt cena's skills.
When he needs to he can go, hell his debut match with angle he was pretty impressive, but his gimmick Demands a simplified ring style. Its the same as hogan, he wrestled a very basic simple style because that's what his character demanded but when he needed to could really go for example his work in japan,.
Cena as a performer and an athelete is top notch, the problem is what he is booked to be, but to be fair that has got a lot better as his character and storylines are quite meta and self aware nowadays

If Bryan hadn't protected himself at the ladt second Cena would've broke Bryan's neck on that top rope spot. ...What's your point? That no I don't agree. Velvet Sky wouldn't have done that
