I thought, given all the uncertainty and pretty justifiable pessimism about this storyline and where it's going for Bryan, it would be interesting to see everyone's thoughts, possibly on a week-by-week basis, on this new Corporation / Evolution / whatever it ends up being called. For now I think I'm sticking to Corpolution.
Personally, I thought tonight was really well done. Spread it out and really made them seem oppressive with not just what they did to Bryan, but also the stuff with Ziggler and Big Show. Really get the sense this is going to be one big, company-wide thing in a much more natural way than the Awesome Truth stuff was.
And it was actually kind of weird seeing Triple H cut a heel promo that was actually, y'know, effective, and managed to talk Bryan up instead of dragging him down. That was very out of character for him, but I enjoyed it. Though Orton does need new music and probably a new finisher given how over the RKO is sooner rather than later. Great stuff though, and I like that rather than use Cena to try to build the group up they were a bit more natural about it and just had him walk off. Means they don't necessarily have to shoehorn him into it later... though they probably will anyway.
Still, yeah, night one it has my approval and I'm eager for next week.
Though I do find it funny how hilariously overworked the Shield was. Wonder if they'll be the all-purpose hit squad for the group or what.

Orton shouldn't drop the RKO. Nope never.

They made me want to see Bryan kick Orton's ass even more. As far as I'm concerned, tonight was pitch perfect.
Why give away Bryan getting his hands on Orton/HHH now when there's PPVs in the future where that can happen?

Like where it's going (if it's going where I think it's going) and everyone played their parts to perfection. Triple H in particular. That was some of his best work since before he became unbearable in 2002.
Didn't love the ending much. Not because Bryan wasn't rolling over the Shield or anything, but something just fell totally flat for me. I'm trying to think of the best way to phrase it and I can't really put my finger on it. Everything was great until the second Bryan wandered out in to a hornet's nest like an idiot. Maybe that's what it is. He looked so dumb just walking on in past the Shield like that wasn't the most blatant set up of all time.

Yeah, looks like all three members of the Shield have become the one Big Boss Man.

The casual fans won't stay interested for long. If they are going to have DB win the belt back, they need to do it sooner rather than later. He won't get these reactions forever.

I think that the problem was that he didn't looked that intimidating or angry when he turned on his ''fighting spirit'' I got the idea on why he did that, but didn't worked

The big issue will be whether they stay the course and tell the whole story, rather than changing on a dime and shifting focus to the wrong people. For now, though? Five stars, near-perfect booking.

The Jeff Hardy chase lasted half a year and he stayed crazy over. You're not giving the "average fan" enough credit. This isn't exactly a Ryder/Fandango build, where crowds try to copy cat the smarky reactions and lose interest. Bryan has been getting this time of reaction for close to two years now.

I don't care for this one bit and tonight reaffirmed my feelings. Big Nose can f*** off as far as I'm concerned and so can midget boy. Sour grapes that it isn't Punk in Bryan's position?

It's quite effective in making you root for Daniel. I give them absolute credit for that 100 percent.
Here's my gripe. And man I hope I'm wrong this time around, but I firmly believe Daniel Bryan is being used to elevate Cena when he returns. Bryan is easily the only guy who can make Triple H, Orton, Steph and Vince look like deplorable people. This builds a lot of heat towards them. They'll repeatedly screw Bryan over until the crowd hates these people so much that the day Cena returns to fight this corporate stable, everyone will be behind Cena.
Prove me wrong McMahon.

I loved everything about it. Mostly, it made so much sense to me from a character standpoint.
- Of COURSE Triple H and the McMahons would make the entire roster come out and view their new mascot even though it's an absolute waste of time. Gotta flaunt that power!
- Of COURSE the Shield would work security despite their whole "justice" nonsense considering they've been hypocrites about it ever since they started taking money from Heyman. Plus, they totally hate Bryan since he's got their number.
- That hug made me furious. Like I literally rolled my eyes and went "Oh come on!" in my living room. This asshole terrorized your family for months, but you're willing to put that all aside because he's a certain height and weight. Petty. Rotten. McMahon to it's core.
- Of COURSE no one helped Daniel Bryan when he got jumped. He's been being an angry, screaming asshole for months yelling at everyone about everything and losing all his friends who said even the slightest wrong thing to him. Why WOULD they help him? Especially when Triple H showed the consequences of messing with him by letting the Shield lose on Dolph and Big Show. If they can smash Big Show I don't think that the friggin' Uso's are much of a threat at the moment.
- Orton, being a disingenuous little snot who has admitted before he ONLY cares about the WWE title, suddenly makes up with some of the people he hates most in the world and acts like it's all water under the bridge just so he can get the title. Then he takes advantage of Bryan and RKO's him for absolutely no reason beyond being a huge jerk.
Can't wait for Bryan to get his hands on them.

This is the one thing I fear. Bryan doesn't end this as the man. Cena does .. again.

I'm tempted to make a separate thread about this tomorrow, but I feel like the only one not feeling the whole Corporation rehash. I admit, I kinda like where this is going, but I'm not digging the players. Save Daniel Bryan, this feels like a really tired sequel to me.
