I always find it funny when I read that Triple H has been saying that he never buried anybody or did everything to put himself over. When I was in New York back in July for the WWE 2K14 press event, I talked to someone who works for the UK version of the WWE Magazine and he told me that the WWE asks his company to never show Mister H getting beaten up or in a position of weakness. And they tried to ask the same thing to the journalists covering their video games a few years ago. That went over well as you can all guess.

In all fairness, it's not like you'd want a top executive of any company to be shown in a position of weakness, even if it's just a video game. Maybe it's a silly thing, but it's not egotistical, imo.

Was he already a top executive back in 2008 (when Smackdown vs Raw 2009 was released)?

Daniel Bryan was hbk trained. And he spent time in developmental memphis learning from regal and others before being released.
He worked dark matches, but wanted to work fcw for a bit before getting ok tv to get used to hard camera work.
Punk did come from developmental.
Guys go through developmental before going to tv. Even Cesaro did.
So whatever
