Who was your favorite? Let the world know. I included other because I tried to get them all, but I know I didn't. Mine is clear. I'm rooting for Air Paris anyway.

This was hard to choose from. It would almost be a 3 way tie for me between Malenko, Jericho and Guerrero as all three had top notch work but I wound up going with Malenko. I vividly remember marking out something fierce after he won that #1 contender battle royal dressed as Ciclope, unmasked to a MASSIVE pop and then gave Jericho a huge ass beating.
WCW had so much talent in their cruiserweight division, it was ridiculous.
Also, did they count Yuji Nagata as a cruiserweight? I'm pretty sure by most standards, he was always been a heavyweight.

Super Calo.
Did La Parka ever get a cruiserweight title shot?

Psicosis. They never should have unmasked him.

Super Calo. Did La Parka ever get a cruiserweight title shot? Not that I know of and it's sad.

I don't think La Parka could really qualify as a cruiserweight. The guy was actually pretty big compared to the rest of the luchadores, and I don't remember him ever have a cruiserweight title match.

Indeed, La Parka was too big to qualify as a cruiserweight. They cared about that sort of thing before Russo...
Voted Jericho. His 1998 character might be my favorite EVER in wrestling.

Mysterio. When I think WCW Cruiserweight division, I think Mysterio. He was flat out awesome in those days.

Parka was billed at 220..despite the inaccuracy that's the limit I thought? Oh well he was still mainly in the division.
Evan karagious and super calo got votes before Juvi, Eddie or ultimo. Didn't see that coming.

I thought it was spelled Psychosis IIRC.
I marked like a friggin' madman when he FINALLY won the cruiserweight belt. Dude was amazing. I always thought he and Sean Waltman could have put on an awesome match. Both were about the same size and were both pretty comparable athleticism-wise.
I thought Silver King was incredibly underrated as a performer and deserves special mention. Dude had the best superkick in the business along with Stevie Richards at the time. I used to love little touches like Mike Tenay always saying not to be fooled by his stocky physique in EVERY match of his, as well as calling La Parka the "largest of the luchadores." Little touches/running references like those were always a bit of fun.
Ultimo Dragon was another great talent but I hated some of his spots like his kick combo and especially the "balancing upside down on the top turnbuckle" one.
Super Calo did nothing for me. He had that awkward top-rope diving headscissors which he seemed to botch at least half the time.
I voted Psychosis. I think Eddie Guerrero is the greatest in-ring wrestler of all time, but as a fan at the time I greatly enjoyed Psychosis' work and still do.

I loved whenever Blitzkrieg showed up. That said, Mysterio was a God to me. He's earned every boring minute that he's taken up on Raw for the past four years.

As a kid, my absolute two favorites were Rey Jr. and Ultimo Dragon, so I voted for Ultimo.
As an adult, it's Dean Malenko. Guy was killer.

Ultimo Dragon was my guy. He was mindblowing to watch, in a different way than Rey was. I loved his hybrid of chain/submission/striking/high-flying.
