Wait wait wait, some members here are trying to tell me that this isn't attractive to be on T.V: I really wish they'd bring her to the roster, not just for her talent, but because her facial expression are on par with Ambrose. Vince obviously has a weakness for blonds.

I really wish they'd bring her to the roster, not just for her talent, but because her facial expression are on par with Ambrose. I agree, but to be fair to Jillian, she once looked like this:

Maybe she signed as a trainer because she DIDN'T want to be on TV?

Not really sure what I was expecting

She must simply not want it that bad. AJ got where she is through sheer effort and struggle. I guess Sara Del Rey doesn't feel like working that hard. /s And being cue and paired with top guys

I have a feeling that Vince McMahon wouldn't think she's attractive enough to be on the main WWE roster. I'm thinking you're right. WWE focuses on looks over talent. Del Rey is a great in ring talent but looks-wise, yikes. The ideal solution would be to have her wear a mask.

Being a trainer = getting a pension, getting benefits that the wrestlers don't get. She's getting to wrestle at the Performance Centre every day, and she's leaving a bigger legacy than she would have done if she was on the TV roster. Look how amazing the Divas roster is on NXT compared to the TV roster. It's incredible the influence she's had in just a year.

She's a bigger asset to The 'E in her current position than she would be wrestling on tv every week.

Looks wise, Bailey is pretty damn homely but they have her on TV every week.
Can you imagine the negative attention a mask could get? "Yeah, she doesn't look like a supermodel. Put a mask on that Elephant Woman before we make people sick."

Having her wear a mask would hide her biggest weakness while allowing you to showcase her wrestling ability.

I find it hard to believe that people find SDR ugly. Different strokes and all of that, but that is one of the odder things to come out of the board in a while.

Thats what I thought, I'd imagine she gets paid better than she would if she were on the roster, plus being there all the time is probably easier on the body wrestling all the time and traveling. I'd say she has a pretty good deal goin. Plus they could still have her actually wrestle at some point if they want. Wasnt Finlay employed as a trainer for awhile before they had him wrestle? That worked out pretty well for him

Like I said, I'm sure she's doing a great job and happy...it just sucks we don't get to see her wrestle.
And her looks have a lot to do with her hair style honestly. She looks really cute some ways. And who decides that anyway? I'd take girl built like and looks wise like Sara over some of these "models"

SDR as a trainer has all of the benefits available to her that any WWE employee gets; medical insurance, paid time off and retirement benefits of some sort be it a 401K, or pension (maybe both). Gotta imagine there's an employee stick ownership program (ESOP) as well. She lives in Florida, which has no state income tax and no cold weather to speak of. Her daily commute to work is probably no more than an hour, compare that to the lengthy plane rides wrestlers have to make all the time.
Given the choice, she'd be a fool to take a spot as an active wrestler.

My main point is that it sucks in the prime of her career to be done performing.
