This is just a big angle, not a vehicle to make Bryan the top guy. It looked like it at first, but no way. If it gets multiple guys over, then it isn't necessarily a bad thing if it works out in the end. It should be a vehicle to make Bryan t he top guy. Even if other guys get elevated in the process, Bryan should ultimately get the biggest rub of all. And are they still trying to get multiple guys over? Miz is back to feuding with Fandango and Ziggler had a meaningless match with Bray Wyatt. It seems like all the other good guys have been phased of the angle apart from Big Show.

If it gets multiple guys over, then it isn't necessarily a bad thing if it works out in the end. Well, so far Cody Rhodes is the only guy to benefit. And I love Rhodes. But this whole thing felt like it was to catapult Bryan, riding the wave of amazing crowd reactions and his across the board appeal. The last 2 weeks really sealed it, that's not happening. That's all I'm saying, and I think it's understandable to be pretty disappointed in that.

Seeing the initial bawling over "the same ending" makes this vindication I'm feeling about tonight that much sweeter.

Show was aight, I guess. Didn't really hate anything on it but the only thing I really liked was Goldust/Orton.

I really hope the Asshole chant starts to catch back on with the crowds because I wanna see WWE attempt to censor the entire crowd in hilarious fashion.

It should be, but at this point, the angle really comes off as if the angle is more about Show than Bryan. It would've been better if they used some other talents who could get a rub without stealing the spotlight. Pretty much. Maybe this will change, but it feels less like an angle to build up Bryan and more like one to feature Big Show and Cody Rhodes. I'd rather see Cody pushed anyway, I suppose, but still, Bryan should be the triumphant hero and who everything's about but Big Show's getting all of his screentime. If it were Cody in Big Show's current spot, I'd be fine with it. Cody can get his chance to shine without overshadowing Bryan and stealing the spotlight. Big Show can't, because as a big guy, he pretty much has to either wreck everyone or turn heel. Part of me is worried that when Cody returns, he's just going to go straight after the World or IC Titles and forget that he was fired to begin with.

Annnnnnnnd Orton is winning at NoC Which is fine, because the New Corporation need to be that much stronger looking for when Bryan (or whoever) gets the big wins. Letting Bryan win too early is the opposite extreme of laying him out on every last show.

Because I remember before people complaining when Cena came out on top on the week-before shows because it meant HE was going over. I'm just confused here.

I really liked Raw tonight. It was an entertaining show with good matches and a great crowd. Edge and AJ were on fire with the burns, too. Wow.

I'll give you that one, it's just historically they've done that WAY more than they haven't.

I guess it felt anticlimactic because it was held off for so long. I think the prolonged business with Big Show took away from the moment, compared to if, say, Bryan had countered the RKO and then laid Orton out. But that's not what they want to do. I acknowledge that it's something different but it didn't feel like it balanced out everything that came before it, especially in the manner in which it was pulled off.

At least it wasn't just Orton holding up the belt again, but it still essentially was, the show just kept going afterward.

If it gets multiple guys over, then it isn't necessarily a bad thing if it works out in the end. "If" is the key word there. History isn't on WWE's side. Tell that to the chapters marked Attitude Era, and the Federation Era. Heck, even New Generation wasn't just Diesel.

During Cena's superman push, the heel would stand tall every go home show over him. But that idea has been sort of outdated for a while now, they've mixed it up a lot more.
