I guess it felt anticlimactic because it was held off for so long. I think the prolonged business with Big Show took away from the moment, compared to if, say, Bryan had countered the RKO and then laid Orton out. But that's not what they want to do. I acknowledge that it's something different but it didn't feel like it balanced out everything that came before it, especially in the manner in which it was pulled off. Pretty much. At least it wasn't just Orton holding up the belt again, but it still essentially was, the show just kept going afterward. Maybe that was supposed to be the dark segment. That director is so fired. Carelessness.

I think the director was simply making up for leaving the camera running on Smackdown for so long that they caught the lead-in to the dark match with Randy attacking DB.

If it gets multiple guys over, then it isn't necessarily a bad thing if it works out in the end. It should be a vehicle to make Bryan t he top guy. Even if other guys get elevated in the process, Bryan should ultimately get the biggest rub of all. Definitely. I have never disputed that. Bryan winning back the WWE Championship must be the end game. But using this angle to help get guys like Rhodes, Ziggler etc. more over isn't being done at Bryan's expense like some have said.

I can't imagine the argument that Ziggler is more over now than, say, in April before or shortly after he cashed in or in June when he turned face. I'm not a big fan of him, and it is true that he's doing the same stuff now (wrestling ok matches in which he loses 90% of the time), but he had a ton of momentum that was lost and I don't think he's gained anything from his association with with Bryan/Shield. If anything he's kind of been hampered by the doofus idea to have the roster standing on the ramp while Bryan got beat up.
