This was actually the one time I did have sympathy for him in this angle.
He didn't punch Dusty to keep his job, he did it because the Shield would have done much worse.

That's a good point. That does help.

Sick to death of him bawling over EVERYTHING. Sparingly, that can be be fine, even powerful; but it's got to the point where he looks like a six year old upset he didn't get his way.

Ive been mostly following things on here and all this Big Show/Steph stuff is incredibly lame. I had Superstars on the other week and it went back to the Raw to show the segment between the two. It was so cringeworthy to me I literally had to turn it off even after muting it. As I said before on here even though Show is great and all I have no time for him in main event storylines in 2013, especially this bollox!

I understand what WWE is TRYING to do with Show, but he just punched an old man in the head to keep his job. the fact that he didn't man up with the rest of the roster doesn't help. it's becoming like that episode of the Simpsons where Homer was Mr. Burns' prank-monkey and kept doing increasingly awful and humiliating things just to get a little money. plus I just don't buy the idea that a guy as big as Show is would somehow have trouble finding work elsewhere. Prank Monkey Big Show It is a prolonged version of that The end is steph and trips throwing coins at the audience, and show just walks away

I have 0 sympathy for that big crying dummie. I actually would like to see him being fired and have a crying seizure in the ring with convulsions and all.
Next week they'll have him punch an handicaped man from the crowd in front of his terrified trisomic childs, he'll do it. But the day they'll take a hamburger from his hands and throw it away he will snap.

Big Show crying might be better if they showed it in slow motion like they kept doing when in the recaps from when he got run over by Del Rio.

Big Show punching Dusty and then slowly bearhugging him to the floor is possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen in wrestling. It was dreadful.

I don't feel much sympathy for Dusty either. Dream coulda at least tried to throw and elbow or run or something instead of standing there like a jackass.

If I'm a 69 year old threatened by three maniacs dressed in SWAT gear with steel chairs, and a reluctant giant that is sympathetic to my situation I think I'd hold out and hope the big guy's conscience wins and helps me. Or just silently hope Big Show makes it quick, Dusty didn't stand a chance, the best thing he could do was hope Big Show had the balls to punch him out.

I can agree up to the point that Show took like three seconds to ball up his fist. At that point you know it's coming, hit that big crying motherf***er.

It would be kind of funny if Big Show whispered to Dusty during that first hug to coordinate Dusty "beating Big Show up" where they just put on a really phony performance of Dusty defending himself.

I don't even have sympathy for the people he KO's. They make the WMD sound like death, yet everyone is fine the next week. How many times has Bryan been KO'd? Sure Dusty got the ambulance but that was dumb too since Show gently laid him down.

Here's what I don't get: why doesn't someone like Bryan, Miz, or Ziggler just take him out? I know he's big, but a good shot with a chair to the knee will take him down. Then, you can brake his foot or leg. Suddenly, Triple H has lost a big weapon.
Then again, I still don't understand why these guys don't just beat up Orton, Ryback, or The Shield with a steel chair when they're forced to face them in a match. They're being put in a no-win situation. If you're gonna lose, you may as well lose in a way that makes you look like you're on top. Don't play by Triple H's rules. He'll just change them. Throw the board across the room and make your own game.

Remember that time he turned face by punching everyone and everyone was fine except Miz who had this like makeup-effect bruise, and Daniel Bryan had to wrestle for him? That was pretty silly. I think that this Big Show stuff is great but only for the unintentional humor it provides. I don't think it's accomplishing anything that they intend it to.

I get what they're trying to do with this angle. They're like Roman Emperors and the wrestlers are like gladiators. Reminds of Spartacus. But they're going too far with it so it looks silly. We have laws and rights. They can't just do whatever. Dusty could sue the pants off them. TNA tied Sons of Anarchy and it was horrible. I don't think WWE is going to do a better job with Spartacus redux.

Yea, how has everyone in this thread missed this point??? Not really missed the point. Show could have said to hell with the job and helped Rhodes fight off Shield. Instead he put himself first, and punched Dusty in the face. Maybe he can sleep at night because he can say he was the lesser of two evils, but that's bullshit. To me, he's absolutely a heel at this point.

To me, he's absolutely a heel at this point. He didn't put himself first, he put his family first. The crux of his emotional plight is that being a big man who's only career has been wrestling, he won't be able to find another job, or not one that could pay-off the monetary problems his wife and children face. His family are basically hostages in an emotional blackmail kind of way.
