God those outfits are so ugly and unnecessary. It's like they just couldn't do the basic Turtle gear, because Hollywood always has to put their own spin on everything. It makes absolutely zero sense that Leonardo would wear Bamboo armor over his chest plate which already IS armor, or that Donatello is wearing crap that would make kicking damn near impossible. It's such a shame because their anatomical designs and especially those faces are amazing. They'd look great dressed in the traditional Ninja Turtles gear. I'm the opposite. I don't think the outfits are all that bad, I thought the extra clothing would be a lot worse and I can see kids raised in the sewers having a warped sense of what's practical and/or looks good. It's their top heavy builds that bug me- the faces are decent I guess, but they look way more like pro wrestlers or samurai than ninjas. But then I think the Turtles (except Raph, who seems to be the musclehead of the brothers) should be more on the slim side or at least should have a swimmer's build, since they're adolescents. But if I were making it, I admit I'd just tweak the Nick designs for live action. |

First images of Shredder  A little over the top, but honestly I think it's kinda cool looking. That is the stuff nightmares are made from. I'm actually afraid that may scare my cousin's three year old. |

But if I were making it, I admit I'd just do a full-length feature of the Nick show. FTFY. The characters themselves look OK, I need a closer look at Raph's bandana mask, as it reminds me of Los Matadores or Dumb Donald from Fat Albert. As for clothes...I am not sure yet. To be optimistic, maybe Bay heard our complaints about not being able to tell Transformers apart...yet, he did the right thing...in a different franchise. And overcompensated. |

Big of a fat faced Gollum IMO
I do like the touch of them being different species of turtle. Made notable by their differing color schemes and Donatello's more beak-like mouth

I don't know, they don't look awful, but the costumes are kind of like the toys in the '90s when they were grasping for ideas.
Now watch me change my mind when they announce Clarke, Gordon, Rist, and Paulsen as the voices.

I'm really not liking this. Their bodies are way too bulky. Especially when they are supposed to be ninjas using flashy martial arts moves. The flat faces just look weird.
I'm really not liking the bayformer decepticon that is supposed to be Shredder. They took Megatron and made him human . And just like the turtles, they went really overboard on the details(especially since the details don't mesh well together).
I don't care what the official credits say, this entire thing has the stench of bay sprayed all over it. The same way Red Tails might have just been indirectly directed by Lucas.
