I know it isn't a big deal anymore, but for some reason(and I know I'm not the only one) WWF just sounds and is better than WWE. Non-Wrestling fans still refer to it as WWF - whenever wrestlers are on the news or something it is always said as WWF instead of WWE. Plus the WWF scratch logo was sexy as fuk.
What do you guys think? And do you agree?

I still refer to it as 'WWF'. I would welcome the return of 'WWF' with open arms. I hate 'WWE' and think the 'entertainment' portion of it is horrible.

I've always thought 'WWF' was easier to say than 'WWE'. It just flows better. So yes, I would be happy.

WWF sounds little league in comparison to WWE. IMO WWF seems like just another teritory that was bought out by WWE for some reason.

I would be happy. It still sounds better and it may be "established" as WWE now, but so many people still know it as WWF. It wouldn't take long for everyone to get back in the groove of saying it. Really, it still feels like WWF and I wouldn't be surprised for it to change back eventually.
Years ago HHH said something about wanting to change it back, ssomeone will know the quote I'm sure?

I prefer WWF and World Wrestling Federation, but at this point I'm not really calling for them to change it back.

I probably wouldn't care either way. Though I suppose it'd make it easier on superstars, as saying WWE during promos is apparently very hard to do.

WWF seems easier to use in sentences when using the full name and using "the." "We are the World Wrestling Federation." "We are the World Wrestling Entertainment" sounds bad.

I would just be happy if people referencing the company in pop culture would say WWE instead of the World Wrestling Federation. It's been 11 years...

I wouldn't, because honestly I grew up with the WWE, not the F.

I don't really care anymore. As long as we have un-blurred videos of the attitude era again, I'm fine.

I still call it WWF most of the time. Really, the only time I call it WWE is if I'm talking to someone who doesn't know what WWF was.

I don't really care anymore. As long as we have un-blurred videos of the attitude era again, I'm fine. Pretty much this. I justify the name WWE as being the new name after WCW, ECW, & WWF were merged in to one entity (since the buyouts & name change happened around the same time). Many companies re-brand themselves after a merger. So it was appropriate to have a new name going forward. (I know that the Wildlife Fund is the reason for the change... But, the above is my kayfabe reasoning/justification for it). If I'm referencing events prior to '02/03, then I use the term WWF.

Yes. I know it's such a small, trivial thing to dislike, but I hated the name change from day one. I'd love if they were ever able to change it back.

Yes
"WWE" has always been a terrible name.
