Its not like hes miles better than the other two and clearly the leader of the group. Why cant they have him do something like Sheamus did where he questioned if u were an actual American who could contend for the belt. I remember them saying hes the eccentric one of the group yet we never see any of this shown aside from goofy faces. Why is he the only one of the 3 worthy of a title?

I think they forgot he had it because nobody cares about the US title. In a month or two they'll remember it then they will put it on Kofi after an impromptu match on smackdown.

Dude...Ambrose is amazing!! He's going to carry this company into it's next golden age!! You don't know because you haven't seen all his work!! It's that good!!
...okay, now that that's out of the way...
Rollins and Reigns have shown more breakout than Ambrose has in my opinion. Which is funny since he's the one who got the single's title.
I guess WWE likes that he calls his spots very loud.

If they let him give promos like he does on WWE.com exclusives and let him defend the title, I think he could rebuild that title and become a big star. I think they could be getting so much more out of Dean Ambrose.

I saw people making the same argument last night. Sorry, but that's silly no matter how you spin it, especially since each member of the Shield don't have an individual gimmick. And giving them individual gimmicks before they break up is stupid. |

Ambrose kind of seems like he'd be a better manager than a wrestler to me. I like the guy quite a bit and he's good in the ring, but when he's hanging out at ringside having to run interference or sell offense with his expressions or something, he is awesome at it.

I think he would make a great manager, but I think he's got too much potential as a wrestler to make him a manager. Despite the rise of managers with Paul Heyman and Zeb Colter, it's not the best time to be a manager. I think he would make a great manager, perhaps for Rollins and Reigns and if they wanted to bring in Kassius Ohno, but overall I think he's worth more to WWE as a wrestler. As good as he would be, I think you're leaving too much on the table if you don't use him as a wrestler. |

Barely any mic time, no memorable feuds. That's why I was in favor of them just freebirding the tag titles. Gives all 3 an equal to shine together, the way I would book any unit of guys. It would also make sense in terms of subbing a guy every match, keeping the unit functioning as strongly as possible, whereas a regular tag team is forced to use the same 2 guys, a trait that the Shield exploits. But nah...WWE think s EVERYONE needs a title to get over. Except, it's very difficult to get 3 guys over in 2 overlapping storylines if they booked it like that. |
