How many major or notable feuds came to a grinding halt almost as SOON as they started due to one of the participants being legitimately injured? The big one that comes to mind is Sting blowing out his knee the night the Horsemen turned on him. Also, Ahmed getting injured just as Farooq debuted. Thinking the Steiners/Hardliners feud never commenced due to one of the Steiners getting hurt right off the bat.

The endless Batista/Mark Henry injury cycle.

It seems like every other WWF PPV in late 1996 through 1997 had matches changed because of injuries.

Lex Luger and Mr. Perfect after Wrestlemania X. Perfect had not been seen until late 95.

PWG: El Generico (Sami Zayn) vs. Super Dragon (2012)
They built it up with a great 6-man tag where they were on opposing sides, but soon after Dragon got re-injured. They never got to have a 1-on-1 match in PWG.

They shot one angle on Raw with Waylon Mercy watching an Undertaker match. I believe that was the last time we ever saw ol' Waylon.

One that may get overlooked:
Goldberg vs the NWO
Most involved say the plan was for Goldberg to tear through the entire newly formed NWO and get the title back, but he put his arm through the windshield of the limo and missed about 5 months.

I've always wondered about that plan, but I've also wondered how things might've been different had they gotten a chance to go through with it. Not to say it would have prevented WCW's eventual demise, but going from the Fingerpoke to Goldberg being off TV for awhile was a huge blow during that pivotal stretch in early 1999.

At the end of the month is when Goldberg got hurt on the limo spot. He didn't come back until May of 2000.

He beat Hall the next month, Bam Bam Bigelow the month after, missed March and then beat Kevin Nash

Yeah, Goldberg was meant to rip through the nWo (Properly this time) in 2000. I assume it would of ended with Bret/Goldberg at some big PPV (Not Starrcade)
Then Hall got injured (Fired for his alcohol problem), Nash got hurt in January, Bret obviously got hurt in January also leaving the group to be Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner and Harris Boys.

Didn't Morrison get hurt right after his feud with Truth started?
Also, the plan for the Radicalz was apparently supposed to be vastly different if not for Eddie Guerrero getting hurt on his first night. I believe the main event of No Way Out was supposed to be Rock/Show, with Radicalz/DX as the co-main.

I believe the original women's championship match at WM21 was suppose to be Lita/Trish match but Lita got injured, and for some reason they choosed a very green Christy Hemme to build the angle around.

Johnny Nitro was suppose to transform into John Morrison first before getting the wwe ecw title, but chris benoit's self inflicting injury sped things up.
Chris Nowinski was going to bang molly holly but he got injured.

In light of the controversial fall out with TNA, Zema Ion/Jesse Sorrenson. The entire reason Ion got the X Division title was to drop it to Jesse at Bound for Glory last year. Hell, they even started an angle where Zema was injuring all of his opponents. Jesse then wasn't cleared to wrestle.
