New intro. The show is now being named Steven Universe Future. Here we are in the future is also the new theme. Also, I guess Jasper's evil again and we're getting more villains

maaaaannnn just give Peridot her own spin-off already.
I mean, I ask for that and then I'm like maybe she'd be too much on her own show. But then I'm like... too much Peridot? That makes no sense.

Don't suppose the title change can come with ditching Steven as the constant viewpoint character, can it? Honestly think it might be the biggest problem with the show that you never follow anybody else and thus no one else really gets fully-in-focus character arcs, not helped by how it's been years since I've actually found Steven at all likable.

It's also being called an "epilogue limited series".
Sounds like fancy jargon for "final season" without saying so currently.

My review {Spoiler}
Little Homeschool
I am sorry this whole premise reminds me of the last 2 seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, and this Cherry Quartz that got a lot of attention, is like a student 6 character, not that there is anything wrong with that.
Meanwhile Jasper is pretty much Vegetta. That is going to character I guess, early reformed Vegetta.
Guidance
A cute episode we needed in between these emotionally packed episodes. It might be the weakest of the 4 episodes because it was more comedic, but I liked it.
The vibes I am getting from this episode, Steven has more Diamond tendency than he wants to admit. Which I guess what the plot of this season is going to be, Steven internal war with the memory of Pink Diamond.
Rose Buds
This episode was straight out weird, but it needed to happen. We meet some real Rose Quartz. And when you think about it, Pink Diamond did frame these specie or race for her own murder.
It is kind of cute how Steven sort of adapts as siblings. Granted weren't the Crystal Gems sort of siblings too?
Volleyball
This was the most emotionally draining episode of the 4, and it had such a simple name, you figured it be a sports episode, but boy was the wrong.
Pearl and Pink Pearl bonding and fusing was cool. I love how at the beginning it began like a rivalry from Peal's perspective at least over who knew Pink Diamond, but in the end they bond and they fuse.
And Steven sorry the whole Pink Diamond is not going away. This episode is early contender for best episode of this season or series if you consider a new series.

Bluebird
Are we suppose to take this episode seriously. I mean I feel bad for Greg, but OMG it is not like somebody died.
I guess the moral of the episode, you can't trust people, the end. Okay a little more complex than that I guess.
A Very Special Episode
This episode was really funny and fun, though the ending confused me, what the heck happened. Always good to see Onion, a little Onion goes a long way.
And a Mary Poppins, Onion is the last person I think about when it comes to having a nanny.
I am not sure is this whole episode a play, I am thinking it is.

Okay a little more complex than that I guess. I think the moral isn’t necessarily “don’t trust people”, more like “some people aren’t ready to change and you can’t force it upon them.”

Not saying the show needs to ditch Steven or anything but having to constantly have the camera on him strangles the storytelling potential. Though really at this point I kinda don't care anyway, I've found myself with zero desire to watch this set of episodes that's come out and am just kinda soft considering myself done with the series.

They have had non steven episodes The thing is steven is central to the story. Steven is the story To avoid that they would have to go back in time or way ahead where stevonnie is actually the kid of steven and connie.

Little Graduation
It took me time to review these episodes, just couldn't put into words my thoughts. Could this really be the last Beach City episode we get. It seems like to me, this is the farewell to Sadie, Lars, Jenny, Sour Cream, Buck, and the rest of Beach City. If so, a good finale.
Prickly Pair
So the cactus is essentially a parrot, and I have seen plenty of parrot plots, so this is nothing new. Seeing Cactus Steven and what he turned into at the end, was very hard to watch. The poor guy, and Steven does need some therapy.
Anyway these first 10 batch of episodes were fine, though I am disappointed in the lack of Connie in any of these episodes.

Missed opportunity by not getting Mick Foley as the voice of Cactus Steven.

Too Bad SUF is heading into hiatus as the 8:00 PM Slot (In which Steven Universe future served as a lead in to Adult Swim reruns of Bobs Burgers) is back in Adult Swim's hands in order to air Dragonball z Kai/Super reruns

Who's up to date with the episodes they've released for the past few Fridays? The finale is this coming Friday.

Steven Universe Future is basically turned into Clannad After Story in terms of "Oh you thought it was gonna be a HAPPY ending..."
