...so it was GUS who chose that abhorrent (to me at least) cover of My Back Pages? Letting me down, Mr. Richlen. Letting me down.

{Spoiler}Can't Find My Way Home- I can see why this was used for the title of a book about America and marijuana. A bit dreamy and ethereal, and definitely something I'd like to hear again.
Her Strut- I'm not exactly sure what was going on in this song. Definitely not bad by any means, though.
My Back Pages- Dylan's original is one of my all-time favorites, so I kinda have expectations for this one. Maybe my expectations were too high, I only really found myself enjoying the song at the "But I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now." refrain, I think The Byrds nailed that part at least.
Recover- Amazon's trying to sell me Brave New World with this song. I wish that was a joke. I know I was complimentary of their song in Off to a Good Start...Again, and yet something about this one just doesn't work for me. Again, not terrible, but I'm just not liking it.
Cool Kids- Ah, this singer seems so familiar, but I just can't place it. I'm kinda iffy on this one, don't really have too much of an opinion one way or the other.
Bennie and the Jets- Slower paced than I was expecting. But I really like Elton John in whatever case, and (as expected) there's a simply fantastic bang-up job being done on piano. High marks.
Middle of Nowhere- I thought this song sounded familiar before I started, and now I definitely recognize it. I heard this song once or twice when my sister was driving me up to school Freshman year. Good memories for this song, and the song holds up as well.
Love's Been Good to Me- I can guarantee this is Gus. How, you ask? The link connects to a playlist of his liked videos. I kinda have to parrot Stinger here, the American series of recordings served as a fantastic coda for Cash's career, and this is definitely a highlight of those recordings.
Swimming Pools (Drank)- Like a few songs by Kendrick, I feel this went on a bit longer than it had to. But given the subject matter it works, and I love it just as much as the cover used in the Stripped round.
Turned Me Cold- The Based God? In my FAN Idol? I'm stunned. I mean, I can see why Lil B has his fans (not to mention has internet following), but this song just doesn't seem like it has an identity. Not really for me
Tonight You Belong to Me- (Don't assume it's Orange don't assume it's Orange...) Anyway, can't say I didn't like this song, but this song kinda dragged for me.
Out All Night- Sounds kinda like, I don't know, ska? Not too sure there, but what I do know is that I really liked this song. Pretty good choice on the part of whoever sent this one in.
The Zephyr Song- Nothing like Red Hot Chili Peppers to kick a round into high gear for me. Not one of their best-known songs, but a treat regardless.
You've Got Time- Heard about this song through Orange is the New Black, went to listen to a preview, absolutely loved it. Hearing it again, love it even more. Bless Regina Spektor and whoever sent this one, because it seems like it has the top spot as of now.
Hero of War- A long, hard journey into cynicism can make for good material in a song now and again. And I'd have to say this is one of those times. Great stuff.
Dead Flowers- More Rolling Stones is a good thing in my opinion. There's a lot of good-great songs clogging up the top of the rankings for me, and this is definitely among them.
The Judgment- Now I won't say this is a bad song, because I don't think that. But I feel that the trial conceit (or is it metaphor?) was stretched too thin. Like I said, not bad, but not really something up there for me.
Octopus- This song was strange. I'm not sure I can find any better words for it than that. I would say I liked it, but not too much.
