HHH - Obligatory "and HHH" must be added to all lists of greatest ever wrestlers/moves/tag teams/entrance music/attire etc... Trish - She had big tits. That was the core of her popularity. On the mic and in the ring she was always average. She improved a lot, but only went from useless to satisfactory. Andre The Giant - Not because he doesn't deserve to be regarded as a legend, but rather because they use him as a substitute for Hogan. They can't bring themselves to praise Hogan as their all time greatest legend, so Andre gets shoehorned into the role. It's kinda ridiculous. Sorry, but she was. I don't recall any great promos from her, and there are plenty of women in WWE who pissed on Trish in terms of in-ring ability.

I don't think they've really overtly kissed Bruno or Flair's asses. They've treated them well, but pretty fairly considering what they've achieved. Flair did get his big send off, but that was perfectly done in my opinion (a real shame he kept wrestling after that).
They've always treated Trish better than she realistically deserved to be treated. I've been a fan of hers since day one and she developed into a talented performer but she definitely got put on a pedestal, getting treated better than those more talented (most of the wrestling divas during her first five title reigns) or more popular (Lita) than herself. Even after her retirement she's one of their favourite former stars, always laying the compliments on thick.
They've been kissing The Rock's ass since he returned so he probably wins this. It's perfectly understandable; they've never had one of their own go on to become a legitimate Hollywood star, and for him to be willing to come back and wrestle on top of that?!? What a coup. But yeah, stuff like the Birthday episode of RAW...that's a big sloppy ass kiss.

I'll have to say Triple H. While the Rock has had more praise given to him, he at least deserved most of it. And with HHH running the WWE soon, prepare for more 'how truly great HHH really is!!!!!!!!!!!'

Undeservedly? Trish (assuming HHH doesn't count).
The Rock is one of the biggest stars/draws in wrestling history. Him, Hogan, and Austin deserve their asses to be kissed by McMahon.

The Rock for the reasons everybody else has given.
Btw for the purposes of this thread it doesn't really matter if the ass kissing is warranted or not.

Sting. All of the above have been ignored or persona non grata before or even buried in segments when they were still around. WWE hasn't stopped kissing Sting's ass since they bought WCW because he is the only man to always turn Vince down and they want him bad. Even the website which occasionally goes off script hasn't buried him to my knowledge, only angles he was involved in, without blaming him at all.

I'll have to say Triple H. While the Rock has had more praise given to him, he at least deserved most of it. Pretty much this. Triple H was like the 6th most over guy during the Attitude Era, yet they act like he was this amazing force that helped revolutionize everything that happened, when it was mostly the work of two others. I won't deny that 2000 mostly belonged to him, but the other times where he was treated as "the guy", he provided some of the worst matches and feuds I have ever seen.

The Rock, easily. Parts of his comeback this time around were cringeworthy.

As much of a fan as I am of him, it's the Rock. The pandering to him since the lead up to 27 was awful. I highly doubt he asked for any of it, but it was clear how badly they seemed to "need" him. Cringeworthy is the right word.
All-time? Shawn Michaels is a good shout. He probably should've been fired multiple times in the 90s, but b/c the business was in such disarray and he was literally one of the only stars they had for a while, they had to give him leeway. HHH is another one, but for different reasons.
I get the reasoning behind including Trish, and they obviously protected her in many respects, but she was perpetually over with both male and female fans and upped her game considerably as her career went on. Obviously, she's not one of the best female wrestlers "ever" depending on the scale you use, but the era she was in, IMO she earned just about everything she's received and she also comes across as humble. The most non-diva Diva ever perhaps. She's one of those names you just rarely if ever hear anything negative about.

Have you seen Trish's ass? I'd kiss it too if the opportunity presented itself

Rock, it was so bad it got to a point where I was theorizing that they were trying to build up Rock to be the greatest WWE performer ever, over Hogan even, so that Cena's win seemed to mean more.

The Rock, by a longshot.
Trish really was the greatest Diva of all-time (though I could see AJ possibly surpassing her someday). Sometimes she literally had the best match on the card, such a great worker...

I'd say that Rock birthday episode alone puts Rock on top.

While I hate the Rock and would love to vote for him, I gotta go with Flair. At least the Rock made money for WWE and brought them some publicity with his recent run, Flair did nothing for WWE but embarrass them but is treated as THE god of wrestling over guys like Hogan, Austin, Rock, Triple H, Sammartino and other who made the company what it is. That is not to say Flair doesn't deserve recognition for his work, just not to level he has gotten, IMO.

Sorry, but she was. I don't recall any great promos from her, and there are plenty of women in WWE who pissed on Trish in terms of in-ring ability. The thing with Trish is that whilst she was good, the standard for the Diva's division was and still is so low that she's considered far better then she ever was.

I'm a huge fan of The Rock but I think it might be him if you want to compare the biggest example of it.
They said he was the greatest superstar of all time which isn't true. Austin beats him in this, Hogan wins as well. I mean Rock is great but yeah come on now.
Triple H might actually be tied if not more than The Rock though if you want to measure the length they kiss ass. They've gone to the lengths of telling their online crew to put him near the top if not winning each poll. Also they've constantly tried to build him up to being the godfather of the Attitude Era when the truth is he wasn't by any means. They really want to portray him as an Austin and Rock-like figure when he was just around the same level as Taker and Foley back then.
