Who's submission move is the most devastating? According to a WWE.com poll, it's Natalya!

Obviously if the question was which of those moves were the most AGGRESSIVE, Del Rio will win in a landslide.

Lets just say I wouldn't want to be put in the armbar.

Even though I don't like ADR and the cross armbreaker isn't an exciting wrestling move, it's the only one of the 4 that's a practical and dangerous move. I'm sure most people here have seen quite a few MMA fights where it gained a submission win. Or if you train in martial arts (several styles) it's often a hold you'll learn.
Also, if someone puts one on you properly, there's no sitting around in it for a few seconds before deciding it's time to tap. You'll know within about 1/2 a second.

I say the Vice. It seems to be the hardest to get out of/counter (not in real life, but in how often it happens). Punk doesn't use it all the time, but when he does he usually wins.

I'm shocked the Hell's Gate finisher isn't up there. Maybe it was banned from the list by Vickie Guerrero.

To be fair, the Vice is a proper BJJ move and sucks to be in, it's just that it's ridiculously hard to lock in compared to other subs you can get from that position. I just assume the people who are voting are taking the other users of the Sharpshooter into account, because yeah, it's certainly the most effective by that measuring stick.

It's simple mathematics. Only Natalya has gotten two people in her submission hold at once.

Anyone else pleasantly surprised that the STF isn't on the list?

Remember when Natalya used the Fartshooter instead?
I wish I didn't, so join me in my pain.
That got me out of viewing a few shows so I have to say that's the most effective submission move. Up there with Triple H's Little People's Court and Ricky Hatton's Guest Knock Out.

The Vice is the only that could actually kill you so that.

I always thought of any non-Bret sharpshooter as being a knock-off. Like there's some big secret to the move that only Bret knows, and he hasn't passed it down yet. All other Sharpshooters are missing that special something.
As far as I can remember, the Undertaker was the only person to break Bret's version. For everybody else, when he sat down, that was it.

WHAT? No option for Brie's half boston crab? Its not hers she stole it from Kerwin White! The White Out was a devastating maneuver.

The Vice is the only that could actually kill you so that. Not bloody likely. It's a terrible, low percentage move that I wouldn't even say was a real move if I hadn't seen some very suspect videos on the internet. I've heard people say it works but I have no idea how it's supposed to mechanically. You're in a terrible position for the americana and only using half your body, so I can't see how effective it would be there and it can't work much as a choke because the carotid is resting neatly on the elbow. Out of the options listed, in the really real world I go for the cross armbar. In pro wrestling though, the vice is the right answer I think
