People are already familiar with the show being called Impact. So phasing it out wouldn't be too hard. The only difficulty would be if they switched to some completely unrelated name altogether. Plus, who exactly would be confused? If you're a fan of the show, it won't be bother some. If you're somebody who sees them as a joke, this would go unnoticed.

How about Impact Wrestling International? They could make a cool logo out of those letters. Plus they could just keep calling it Impact Wrestling for short.

If they changed it to Federation Under Control of Kings, the initialism would be less embarassing.
And I may just get away with not being banned for that.... presents
And for a counterpoint as to what some are saying:
THe show just comes up as Impact Wrestling on guides in the UK.
When shows are advertised over here, they're advertised at the booking office as:
TNA presents IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE
We all know the brand.

That is not going to make a difference.
The only thing that can make TNA grow is to have a much bigger budget and target young kids so that they may get addicted to the show early on.
Even signing John Cena will not really help them long term.
TNA just needs to focus on putting good shows.

A lot of people where I am in the U.K don't really think of TNA as Tits n' Ass because it's just one of those Americanisms that we're aware of but don't really have ingrained in our culture. Still I like the name Impact Wrestling as it is, it's snappy and doesn't really need the three letter cliche of Pro-Wrestling to make it work.
