And yeah, I know that this is not the first time Zecora has brought a plot device medicine along that played a role in saving the day.
But I can believe more that she had a seed to a certain plant with her than her just happening to have a potion only activated by an alicorn.

I'll agree to its convenience, but since the Time travel option had already been used in "It's about Time", and there would have been little time or means otherwise... how would you have triggered these flashbacks for twilight? |

Discord showed in "The Return Of Harmony, Part 2" that he can take people to past events (when he showed Twilight that he never said that the elements were in the maze). While I don't know the extent of this, it would have been a justifiable solution for Twilight going back. |

Requiring alicorn magic makes it look like Zecora's been sitting on that thing for a while, or have incredible foresight. |

Hehehe, now that point by Cereal was interesting. While the mane five were just disabling the plants attacking Twilight, as soon as Twilight woke up, she blasted the plants right into plant heaven.  No bucking around with the Twilight Princess. |

The potion was TOO convenient, but as you had said before, MD, this could have been 1-2 more episodes. Discord showing her the past just for his amusement (and pseudo-assistance) would have been fun to watch.
