Will WWE suddenly remembered that he never actually beat Bryan? Bryan beat him clean as a sheet.
Is it possible, and I know this is ridiculous, finger-crossing, wishful thinking, that the Wyatts are just keeping Bryan busy, Cena will win the indisputed title, beat Randy in a rematch, and then maybe Bryan will challenge at the chamber, or even just win the Rumble?

If they really go through with the unification at TLC and don't pull a bait-and-switch, I actually think Orton's winning. He's the one with an actual angle that's built around being the champion, whereas Cena's just hanging around showing what a great competitor he is.
Frees up Cena for a non-title match at Wrestlemania against a big-name part-timer too.

If we get Bryan/Cena 2...Cena is without a doubt going over.
Let's face facts folks, Bryan isn't going to be touching the WWE title ever again.

I've suddenly just realised that this entire angle has gone from Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority, to John Cena vs. Randy Orton.
WHY?!
p.s. Wrestlemania season is just around the corner, just be lucky if Bryan even makes it onto the WM30 card let alone touching the main event.

Bryan will make it and have his big moment. We need to believe!!!! Come on guys. Let's believe that Bryan will be the top guy when all of this is settled.

I think Daniel Bryan will probably end up turning heel before Wrestlemania.
If so, he'll likely just job to Cena after several weeks of "goat-faced troll" jokes whenever they feud again.

In a seven minute match where he reunites with Kane to fail to take the tag titles from the Real Americans, but still.

Weeks ago wwe officials said they're debating about putting Bryan back in the title picture during Mania season so we will see. Chances are he will win the RR.

I think this is filler. Its not a unification. They'll both move on to other feuds for Rumble.
This is just incredibly lazy booking.
I'd like to see Ziggler + Langston + Sandow + Reigns for a no1 contenders match @ Rumble.

Man, this angle is a lot like another certain one.... It definitely feels like that after SummerSlam and during the lead up to the Royal Rumble the veteran talents go out of their way to cool off younger guys that were part of super hot storylines. Bryan, Punk, Wade, all were pinned by veteran talents for seemingly very little reason.

I don't know if this is a joke post or not since the whole "wait and see" sentiment is treated as such, but if it isn't... I agree. There's a quote from a lesser known song by The Offspring that often comes to mind for me lately when I see how people feel about WWE these days... "You can't kill a man when he's got no hope." That may be true... if you're always expecting the worst from wrestling, then you don't get "hurt" when it inevitably happens. But to me, that's a pretty depressing way to live as a fan. I'll always have hope that WWE will turn the corner and that my favourite guys will prosper as a result, because to me there is no point in keeping up with it otherwise.

Not Cena winning a rematch, but Bryan not winning the WWE title again. There isn't shit for faces that the crowd really is into, Bryan is one of the few they actually pop for. Hell he's arguably the most popular face in the company.

This notion that Bryan is going to be forgotten and be placed in a last minute match on Mania is absolutely silly to me. Bryan is booked extremely strong on tv, they are making more merchandise for him and they keep him in high profile spots without being in the title picture.
Even after Punk's "major burial" in 2011, he still got the longest title reign in like 20 years and faced guys like rock,Brock and Taker. That seems pretty nice to me.

Because he was a lot better looking in the 90s? Although once I saw his terrifyingly skinny chicken legs, the illusion was shattered for me, I can tell you that much.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cena gets screwed over in the unification match and goes on to face HHH with Vince in his corner at Mania.
