Like they did with Punk when his did? On one hand, they did give Punk the longest continual reign since before the days of RAW. On the other hand, while his merch sales were amazing, especially when he caught fire, they're nothing compared to the staying power Cena's merch has. Cena is THE money maker of the WWE, and so long as he's the golden cash and publicity cow (calf) for them, Vince will gladly keep him in spotlight. Especially if you consider this new K-Mart deal. Kinda makes my soul hurt to see pro wrestling decisions justified by "this new K-Mart deal".

If it was heard by Vince's ears...then no. The more you chant for Bryan, the harder WWE is likely going to ruin him. Look at what happened to Ryder (not that I'm a fan of his or anything). Imagine Vince running a grocery store. "People really like this brand of green beans lets move them another isle and its place let put this shitty brand ocra." "Attention customers, you will like what I tell you to like damnit, thank you." In fairness to Grocery Mcmahon, okra always rules. Green beans suck. FRI-ED OK-RA clap clap clapclapclap..

Will be dropped? He HAS BEEN dropped. People often confuse,(which is partially to blame on WWE's all or nothing booking) the midcard with the undercard. Bryan is in a midcard feud. It's a feud on the level with midcard belt holders, unless you truly believe any member of the Shield or Wyatt's will be in the World/Heavyweight Title picture soon, because despite their run ins they haven't been there as competitors. Being in the midcard shouldn't be a bad thing, but in WWE it is and especially for Bryan it is. The WWE/World Title is no longer the be all end all of the main event scene On semantics you may be right. You can also be a part of the main event if it has anything directly to do with Taker, a returning long gone former Main eventer, or HHH. The tag scene has not been seen as equals to main events in a long time. The tag teams are for Trips to pedigree or Cena to overcome the odds. Daniel Bryan lost the tag titles to the Shield then went on to Feud for the world title. Now he's back in the mix with the team that he lost his previous belt too. It was a midcard feud for the belts back then. The only thing different is that there is less gold involved and more facial hair involved.

Yes, the New York crowd hates Randy Orton and John Cena but loves Daniel Bryan.
Is this a big shock or something?
