If they have to add another onscreen title, then- considering that the WWE Title is being unified already, just add a modified, Acclaim video game-ized version of the "Option C" to the NXT Championship: Once the NXT Champion has successfully defended the title 10 times, they receive the option to surrender the NXT title in exchange for a guaranteed promotion/relegation match with a WWE superstar. The NXT Champ loses, they're no longer champ- they win, they get a spot on the WWE roster [and the guy they beat is forced to NXT.] It's a little weirder, but the title is in WWE games [so it exists to the "WWE Universe", not just the NXT Universe- and where Option C made it fail in the X-Division for TNA, it'd be an inspired way to really make the NXT Title MEAN SOMETHING on NXT (whoever's the champ is effectively "The next to be promoted."

When Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan can not only be booked to win world titles and beat bigger men, but more often than not make them look stupid, what's the point of weight limits?

Most of the main roster already makes appearances on NXT except for the tippy top main eventers (and Ryder because he usually tapes Iced 3 the week of the NXT tapings). I don't like the idea of that because eventually it will get to a point where it becomes less about putting over young talent and more about punishing someone who has heat. I can see WWE eventually calling up someone who isn't ready just to spite someone on the main roster.
