Considering the leaked launch date 2/24 it wouldn't shock me.

I always fail to realize "IT'S MUFFIN TIME" is OP's sig. I'm always like "Why the hell does he have it's muffin time, in big bold letters in his post"?
That's all I have to add to this subject.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. The WWE Network stays in Vegas I'm going to be the only person watching this network by the sounds of things, then.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Though at this point, I've lost all interest in the WWE Network.

I have this weird thing where I'm rooting against the Network ever happening. I think it's because it feels like a total vanity project. "ooo we're like Oprah and the NFL, seee?"

They have thousands of hours of content, and add what...7 hours each week? And as someone who is a fan of Houston sports and the Texas Longhorns, I would rather WWE spend some time actually getting carriers instead of just having U-verse and Grande cable having it.

Yeah between DVDs and the On Demand shows they have more than enough to go a year if you consider they'll probably go the go the History route of having a Morning Block that repeats in the Afternoon, then a Primetime block that repeats overnight. Throw in stuff like the WWE, WCW and ECW libraries that are already digitized and they have more than enough to run a few years with no problems. I just want the damned thing for the cheap PPVs. $15 to $20 a month for HD PPVs compared to the current $55, yes please.

Being fair, though, with how much video's in the WWE library, they already have loads of content for the WWE Network- and free content at that since it's already in the can, so the network can be profitable right out of the gate. ...and everyone else put that in. Yeah, they ARE covered.

As long as I get the channel the Network gets on, I'm in full favor of this. RAW might go to one and a half hours and USA won't be able to force any creative shifts on them. And the PPVs will be a lot cheaper.

Maybe WWE is trying its hand at owning a casino again. If the announcement is the launch of the WWE Network, time to bring this thread out of mothballs! I've said this many times already, but I hope the Network (again, if that's the announcement) has an on-demand counterpart. Most TV networks these days do, so just change "WWE Classics" to "WWE Network." Yes, WWE, it really is that easy! EDIT: Most likely this means nothing but I thought it was worth mentioning. I got my Comcast bill a few days ago and there was a message that G4 is no longer being offered as of January 6. WWE is making this announcement two days later. Is it possible that WWE has reached a deal to buy G4? I know that's been a rumor off and on since news of the Network first broke.
