All this talk about merchandise and I can only recall a handful of masks and shirts during his run. TOYS. Sin Cara is almost always released in the first line of any WWE toy. And, then in different colors/etc in following "series." Having a wrestler that resembles a Power Ranger does wonders when selling toys to younger children.

And, then in different colors/etc in following "series." Having a wrestler that resembles a Power Ranger does wonders when selling toys to younger children. It more have to do with Mattel saving money by just re-painting Sin Cara in different colors to save money than his popularity. Even the Cena action figures at least get an updated head to go with his new color of the moment. I know Mattel won't be happy because they got to add a tattoo to all new Sin Caras.
