What are your least favorite gimmick matches?

There are lots of gimmick matches in wrestling, but a lot of them are not good. Let's be real, some of them are good and have good examples, like some HIAC matches or even submission matches. There are a lot of good ladder matches, and then there are some that are some that are not so good. However, I can think of a few match types that I was never a big fan of. I'll list them:

1. First Blood.
-I am really not fond of this type of match for a number of reasons. When I see blood in a match, I feel that it adds intensity to the match. I don't like the concept of having someone bleed in order to end the match. Hell, it didn't do any wonders adding it to video games.

2. Inferno matches.
-I really do not care for these types of matches for a few reasons. I feel that inferno matches are best suited for movies or video games, not wrestling where getting burned is more of a hazard on someone involved. Plus, it seems obvious that someone who is more clothed is likely to catch on fire because we don't want to see actual flesh on fire.

3. Pole matches.
-Ah, the pole matches. Okay, I know that they are like ladder matches, but they don't have as much intensity and all the match involves is someone grabbing something from the top of a pole and are mostly better on Raw or Smackdown.

4. Table matches.
-While I can admit that there are actually good table matches, particularly Hardys vs. Dudleys, same with that match at Survivor Series 2002, I really don't find the concept interesting. It's almost like how I feel about first blood matches.

I can't think of any others, but what are your examples?

The Buried Alive match simply because the first 90% if the match does not matter since they are just killing time until they make their way towards the burial area. It completely kills any interest in the match for me until the one important spot actually occurs.

I never liked Last Man Standing matches. While I've seen some guys have some really good ones, most of the time they just seem to be 25% action and 75% of guys just standing or lying around while the referee counts.

Strap matches/Bullrope match/Chain matches/etc. where the way to win is by touching all four ring posts in order

even though its not a gimmick match per say, any match were (specific wrestler) will be disqualified if he/she uses (specific move). ie: Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton from Survivor Series 2007 where Michaels would be disqualified if he did a superkick, Edge vs. Dolph Ziggler from Royal Rumble 2011 where Edge would lose the WHC if he did a spear

I usually get bored during Lumberjack matches.

Blindfold matches are pointless too

It begins and ends with Scaffold Matches. They can't do any moves up there, they just sorta hold on and punch and then someone always gets seriously hurt by falling off, plus the audience can't see what's going on up there.

1) Chairs match. Never saw the appeal because it's not as if you get the chair, you win. The only good thing to come out of that match was Big Show's giant chair

2) Ring of Fire match. What's the point of having fire around the ring if the object isn't to set your opponent on fire. Hell, Harper and Rowan were still able to get in the ring

3) Punjabi Prison match.

3 or 4 way dance. They are just all the same with the same finish. Especially in WWE.

Cage matches when there is an open door. Escape the cage matches in general annoy me. I think a cage should be used to keep opponents from having their friends interfere and should be Pinfall or Submission.

Any time I watch a cage match end with someone escaping (especially through the f***ing DOOR) it makes me want to find the booker and slap him in the face for completely missing the point of a cage match and both the wrestlers for going along with it.

I used to think the dumbest variation on that had to be the punjabi bamboo cage match they made up for Khali, where they could just call out to the ref to open to the doors, but then TNA actually managed to stoop even lower and added a stipulation where one of the wrestlers starts the match with the key to the door in his posession.

I don't mind lumberjack matches as long as the lumberjacks are wearing the red and black flannel shirts.

Chances are, if a gimmick match cannot possibly end or even progress at any point in time and does not involve a large amount of competitors, it is terrible idea.

I'm looking at the upcoming Dixieland match, where you have to escape a cage and then climb a ladder to retrieve an object. WCW's Ready to Rumble triple cage is also a good example of this pitfall.

Since the match cannot end at any point in time during the first phase, the audience has little reason to care about what's going on until the final part of the match.

1) "I Quit" matches have been devalued to the point they're about 10% action, 40% "painful" restholds and 50% comedy. I'm guilty of falling in line with it playing a SmackDown video game; when you grab the mic, there's just enough time for your character to channel your inner-Rock and belt out "Now, in front of the millions of jabroni-lovers out there, your monkey-ass is gonna yell 'I Quit'!" (Only because I haven't found a video game that has a lunatic Roddy Piper getting in your face every 5 seconds screaming "Whatcha-say?")

2) I will sleep soundly at night if I knew there will never be another strap match in my lifetime. They all have the same format, almost a paint-by-the-numbers feel to it. (Bullrope matches are different, there's a frickin' cowbell on it.)

3) Tables matches or any variation thereof, where the object is to put a guy through a table to win.
