I'm not bummed about any particular booking other than the whole show felt flat and inconsequential. Is an umpteenth title reign for Cena or Orton that high stakes? Do I feel like Punk, Bryan, The Shield, or The Wyatt's gained or lost anything based on their matches? Did the two top guys ever look like theybwere desperately trying to win two world championships instead of setting up spots? No on all accounts.
Nothing was an abomination or a face palm, but it was a $50 episode of Raw with nothing of note.

Yes.
Randy Orton is champion. The same man I think is about as exciting as watching "This old House" is getting yet another ungodly boring push. Honestly, I would have bummed out if Cena won too so it was a lose/lose situation with me.

I am bored with Cena's character (cliche IWC, I know, but whatever) but I just plain old dislike Orton.

Orton is incredibly dull. At least Cena winning opens up more story line angles. I guess we'll be in for Punk v Orton at the Rumble or Wrestlemania.

Either way, I would be. This match was mediocre, and our options were Boredom or Kid Appeal.

After months of (often nonsensical) screwy finishes we finally get a match where an overbooked clusterf*** would make sense and could have actually been fun, but what do we get?
A clean Orton win. A Clean Orton win after an awful match*. A clean Orton win after an awful match with a weak finish. A clean Orton win after an awful match with a weak finish in what was supposed to be an epic and historic match. A clean Orton win after an awful match with a weak finish in what was supposed to be an epic and historic match after they teased something more interesting on Raw.
At least Cena winning would have opened up some interesting possibilities (even without a full heel turn), although admittedly I do like him depending on his opponent whereas I always find heel Orton boring.
It's similar to HHH vs Orton at WM in a way, that should have been full on run-ins from multiple people too (Legacy, McMahons etc) but suffered from being a particularly underwhelming one-on-one match.
*To be fair to them I hardly ever like single TLC matches anyway (although I loved Edge vs Flair).

only a little. Not so much because of who won, even though I find Orton to be one of the most boring people on the roster.
But even if Cena won I would feel the same way because the match was pretty blah, Cena and Orton have had way better matches in the past and for something hyped as the be all end all of matches it should have been way better.
edit: also at this point Cena should start investing in a handcuff key to carry around in his shorts when facing off with Orton... this is what the third time he's handcuffed him to the ropes?

Even though I detest Orton, I was disappointed because he won. Like I said in another thread, it was either going to be him or Cena. For me, there's no good outcome with that.
What disappointed me is the fact that absolutely nothing happened. It was just business as usual at the end of the night. After the big kerfuffle at the end of Raw last week, I honestly expected something sorta interesting to take place in the main event at TLC. Then... It didn't. Hell, there was nothing on the entire show that justified a purchase. My condolences to everyone who paid out hard-earned money for it.

good job WWE! no ppv buys from me since Summerslam (and I'm a guy who bought ELEVEN PPVs in 2011)

I for one, am bummed. It was a weird, filler-ish PPV, and the tag-match easily outshined all the main-events.
The end of Orton and Cena was innovative, but the match was so plodding and slow it hurt it for me.

I think WWE knows that Cena is a superior talent to Orton, but have reasoned that Orton needs the title/the accolade of unifying the titles to be over and Cena doesn't.

Not really. Of course I've more or less tuned out the main event angles recently, so I may not be a reliable polling voice.
