This is the most voted on, evenest poll I've ever seen on this forum. "Let's go WWE!" "WWE Sucks!" This thread truly is the John Cena of product perception.

I think that a big part of the reason that it's even is because a lot of people are largely apathetic to the whole shebang.

Orton is incredibly dull. At least Cena winning opens up more story line angles. I guess we'll be in for Punk v Orton at the Rumble or Wrestlemania. I think WWE knows that Cena is a superior talent to Orton, but have reasoned that Orton needs the title/the accolade of unifying the titles to be over and Cena doesn't. They can do whatever they want with the guy, Orton will always be second-tier.

I just watched TLC and once again I must have seen a different PPV than some other people. Most matches were good to great except for the filler stuff with Truth/Clay and Kofi/Miz. Cena/Orton was pretty good, with a hot crowd on top of it ("oh yeah, the crowd will TOTALLY shit on them"). I was surprised that there were no shenanigans and would've probably preferred it, but Cena winning wouldn't have made any sense, so Orton as champ works for me.
Orton/Punk? Hell yes. They had a short feud three years ago, with different face/heel alignments, and the matches were great. How is that "overdone"? Oh, right, I know. Because people hate Orton's guts.

The shifting, twisty turny poll results of this thread are more exciting than the main event of TLC.

Not disappointed, but I think again my expectation levels were too high going in. I just thought because it was the unification they would have gone all guns blazing to make it special, and whilst it was not a bad match by any means, it just was not the classic I was hoping for. I think like a lot of people I was hoping for some elaborate twist that never emerged.
Cena's reaction will make or break this, as it could lead to some interesting TV yet. A Royal Rumble rematch seems inevitable, and I have not resigned myself to Orton still being champion come wrestlemania.
Even if he is, I will have no issue providing he is not one on one vs Cena at that event, and we get Cena v Undertaker. The run in to mania should still be good regardless, so back to the original question: no I am not bummed by the outcome.

I was bummed when the card was announced.
There wasn't really anything that could happen that I was looking forward to though, so no match result disappointed me in particular.

I think that a big part of the reason that it's even is because a lot of people are largely apathetic to the whole shebang. That's it for me. I considering voting yeah, as reading about the results definitely made me have a negative opinion, but I don't/haven't cared enough in months to straight up be all the way bummed, so I hadda vote no. Twas the ennui.
