Made a new one with proper grammar Explanation on some new ones. Fandango wasn't well received by some in the early going but he's a solid mid-card guy now. Henry turning heel and getting another monster push certainly will be a wait and see how it turns how. The Bo Dallas one is kinda my own take. People were pissed he took Biggie's belt but his heel run has been very effective IMO. Jerishow, I remember people being disappointed that Jericho picked Show and not some youngster but it worked out well. The Fella vs Show feud was not something people were really excited for but the feud and matches were pretty good. My explanations kinda show the problem with finding images for this picture. I don't actually know what was truly hated by the hivemind and what was actually just something a few dislike. I was going to put in Big Johnny getting the GM job but not everybody liked his run. I was thinking of something odd like Eddie's heel turn on Rey but I have no idea what the hivemind felt towards it. Basically it's hard to go back in time to find things people hated but eventually turn it out because hindsight makes us look at things more fondly. I felt the Kane/Lita story-line was a good example for wait and see working out but I'm not sure if others will agree on that. It's much easier to find the other side for that reason. I loved at least half of those things when they happened. I have no idea what planet you are living on where Kane/Lita was anything good, sorry.

I just think it's dumb. Bryan in this feud should have been booked like Benoit during his feud with Raven. Instead they've turned him into Scotty Riggs. They should have run with Bryan just as he was this past summer. The guy was white-hot.

This is part one, and that was the cliffhanger ending. The resolution will come soon.

As idiotic as this is and as great of a mishandling as this entire thing has been...
Bryan is essentially the new Kane. He's literally spun so many crap storylines they've given him into gold. I trust in his ability to make this work.

I'm genuinely shocked at how many people on the internet think Bryan turned heel.

So, his plan to negate all of that is to join a smelly backwoods hillbilly cult? He's going back to RoH? (ok ok, not really filled with backwoods hillybillys (Cough Briscoes Cough) but still)

I'm genuinely shocked at how many people on the internet think Bryan turned heel. I can understand how people can get into that mindset. Through a combination of their recent reputation for unsatisfying storyline conclusions, reluctance to really pull the trigger on anyone and news reports saying plans for WM that don't really have anything for him, it's a logical conclusion to jump to, even if I don't agree with it.

I was on the fence about it initially, I still sort of am. It was definitely a good cliffhanger. I'm not expecting a stellar followup but it's hard to deny they have yet another interesting premise on their hands. Even if this is a temporary thing, have server seen a turn like this? Where a guy is just so beaten down that he gives in just for some reprieve? I find d it really cool how it played out, he put up a valiant effort for months to claw his way back to the top but just can't do it anymore.
I fear for the worst but that really was a compelling ending.

I could kind of see this as Bryan playing the Authority. He might spend the first week or two walking around looking glum but gradually turn the Wyatt's to his side. Sure they've done a bit of dirty work for the Authority but there's no explicit connection. It could be that Bryan is using their interest in him to finally get a chance to cause the Authority some pain. I realize that probably won't happen since the Authority keep putting themselves over Bryan but it could be an intriguing direction.
The other thing though is the crowd was still chanting for him right up until the end. Hell it sounded like some of them were cheering him joining the Wyatts. I'm willing to see where this goes. At this point it could turn out fantastic, terrible or just kind of meh.

This is part one, and that was the cliffhanger ending. The resolution will come soon. Aren't we still waiting to see on the resolution to Bryan getting comeuppance on the authority. Are we still waiting for Bryan to handily dispatch Orton? Are we still waiting to see if he can prove Trips wrong and carry the company into Wrestlemania? Are we still waiting to see if the dragons will ever arrive in Westeros.

Would love to overhear a conversation between him and fellow HBK trained Brian Kendrick:
Kendrick: So Bryan, my man, what's been going on in WWE with you?
Bryan: Well... I was on this show for rookies, NXT, and I lost all my matches. My mentor on the show, this guy from MTV, kept beating me up and one of the announcers, Michael Cole, really had it in for me. Then me and the other rookies got fed up and created this group lead by some British guy called the Nexus. We had Big N's on our shirts and everything. Thing is, I got in trouble for choking the ring announcer with his tie, so they fired me. I did get to spit on John Cena and kick him in the head. Then I came back to fight the Nexus at Summerslam. Heh, Bret Hart was there and I did well. Wrestled matches here and there and I won Money in the Bank and cashed it it! This crazy chick named AJ really had a thing for me and I went with it. Sorry to say but I got a bit wrapped up in it all, we almost got married, but she became GM of Raw! I know, right? Punk and I got into this feud, AJ likd Punk, I wore this green outfit to the ring once, Big Show and I had some problems to and he ran over AJ!... No, not with a car, just kind of running. Lots of other things happened: I lost to that big Irish guy in 18 seconds at Wrestlemania! I teamed with Kane and we had some problems but we went through therapy and they had us hug! People called me a goat and this Muppet made fun of me! Triple H really hates me but everyone in the audience keeps chanting when I wrestle, so I chant back. I beat John Cena with a knee to the head but Randy Orton RKO'd me and took the title. I wrestled these three guys in SWAT team jackets with a pair of Samoan twins and this big guy who always eats everything. I used to be a militant vegan but now I date a Bella Twin and we have our own tv show with the Funkadactyls and Jim Neidhart's daughter. Cena's on it too! Triple H hates me though and these two giant hillbilly guys keep abducting me and IRS's son wants me to join their wacky cult and, I dunno, I just might do it.
So, how you been?
Kendrick: Well, you know how it is: smoking weed, smoking weed, and reading the Art of War.

you know this supposed burial did feature Bryan in the main event of a Raw which featured little in the way of protection. No Cena, No Orton, no Big Show, no Rey, no tag team champs. Just CM Punk in the first hour, and Big E Langston in the second.
That's a lot of confidence in someoneo they're burying

That Authority stuff is the larger arc and this Wyatt angle is basically a smaller arc within the greater myth arc. The "Bigger Picture" I'm usually a "Wait and see" guy, but I don't trust WWE much anymore. Not after subjecting us to Cena vs Orton again.

They aren't betraying you by not doing what you want. Maybe you don't believe WWE is truly capable of entertaining you anymore but that's not the same as trust

The Bigger Picture brought us Bad News Barrett. Maybe in 3 years we'll get Bad News Bryan ascending Kurt Angle style.

I don't feel like reading 12 pages of back and forth from the Chicken Little crowd and the Wait and See bunch so here's my personal take on it. Bryan is not ruined (forever or temporary) by this storyline development. If anything he shown another side of his character. After spending months of the Authority and the Wyatts breaking him down mentally and physically, he finally got broken. He didn't smile after taking a tremendous ass whipping or crushing defeat like he normally does. Bryan realized the Machine will always hold him down no matter what the fans say. So to quote Jeff Hardy "I didn't sell out. I sold in.". Now is this a rope a dope to infiltrate the Wyatts to take down from the inside or did Bryan sell his soul to a pseudo messiah? The story is still ongoing and this was a plot development needed for all involved. The angles and matches for Mania are not written in stone so the talk of Bryan haven't nothing planned is just that: talk. And nowadays a wrestler's popularity doesn't mean he loses his fanbase and crowd support because of an alignment shift. Punk done everything for heel heat when was WWE champ short of kicking a mentally disabled baby and the crowd still cheered him. Fans cheered on Orton when he was bashing Miz's brain in front of his parents. People think the crowd are lemmings and will only cheer for the good guys. They proven time and again, they will cheer for who they want no matter what. No panic button reaction for me.
