I have no problem if they took him out of the main event to put him in a good storyline but can anyone honestly say the Wyatts targeting Bryan for no reason, beating him up week after week and then wanting him to join them is a good storyline? Especially since he already went through the 3 on 1 beatdowns against the Shield week after week?
The weak point of this story is their reason for wanting him to join them. They have none and I can't think of a reason that makes sense. Can you?

Judging by what Bray is saying, he believes that he can use Bryan to take down the machine in WWE.
In a strange way, he believes in Bryan just as much as anybody.

We're told that they have a reason by virtue of the fact that the Wyatt Family has been hounding him for weeks. Ipso facto, we need no actual reason whatsoever, despite the fact that from the start Bryan feuding with the Wyatt Family after feuding with Orton and the Authority seemed like an obvious step-down and didn't make much sense given that Bryan has now taken his eye off the prize of being the champion.
Like someone in the 15-page Bryan thread said, this... angle? Or whatever it is seemingly right now is more to elevate the Wyatts by association because Bryan's mega-overness than it is about generating sympathy for Bryan.

That would be interesting, had the Wyatts been feuding with the Shield like they teased. Maybe Vince forgot that was supposed to be part of the storyline?

Maybe they didn't feel like they were strong enough to do it until they got Bryan? (Does that make sense? I've only sporadically started watching again in the last few weeks... not really enough to get a sense of the storylines.)

Yeah, pretty much every Wyatt promo has been about how if Bryan and Wyatt teamed up they could accomplish anything, including taking down the machine (ie the establishment?)
Which I think works well with what Bryan has been going through. The Authority has been throwing up roadblocks all over the place and maybe this is his deal with the devil to take HHH and Steph down.

To me, they have to see that Daniel Bryan is one of the more effective wrestlers when he's not being screwed out of it, but on wwe.com they said Bryan won by DQ 12 times.. If they want to take over everything, Bryan would be the perfect weapon. Someone that isn't overly Cena-like, but still a formidable wrestler, which they saw at the 3-1 match.

That's the problem. We don't know if the machine means the establishment. Everything Bray says is nonsense. Did Sister Abigail ever amount to anything? Besides, I thought the authority were using Wyatts to keep Bryan busy and away from the title hunt. Wyatt's as Bryan's allies is a good storyline under the right circumstances. Since Bryan is the bigger star, he should've been the one recruiting them, specifically right at the time the Wyatt's/Shield were about to face off. That could've lead to a D-Bry/Wyatts vs HHH or Kane/Shield match as Survivor Series. But they way they're telling this storyline is as sloppy as usual.

I always imagine Wyatt as kind of the "agent of chaos - Joker" type. I don't think he'd let anyone use him for anything willingly and would really enjoy the anarchy of having NO authority in WWE.

Who says he'd use him willingly? They'd have mutual interest. In fact, once the angle is over, Bray could turn on him and then we could do this feud. It would make more sense that way. Why would Bray care if there's no authority? His faction is allowed to do whatever they want already.

I think its not about giving his faction more power, but creating more chaos and anarchy. Generally breaking down any sense of order or infrastructure.
