Damn! Sad news. She was the most attractive Diva in recent memory imo and had the best body in WWE Diva history. She had improved so much in the ring, too. I wish her well in her achieving her goals. She will be missed

Further, given how royally shitty wrestling has historically treated performers, the notion of a worker being vilified for not having loyalty to THIS BIDNESS is baffling. People did this a lot with Rock and Brock after they left. For the most part all I heard was blah blah they don't have respect for DIS BUSINESS and HOW DARE THEY MAKE CAREERS FOR THEMSELVES OUTSIDE OF WRESTLING THEY OWE ME SOMETHING! Honestly if it's Brock, Rock, Kaityln, Eve, The Bellas before they figured out no one gave a shit about them unless they had their boyfriends' company backing them, whoever. If you feel the need to leave on your own terms and do something else, good for you. I enjoyed the time and work they put in, and hope they do well in whatever they wanna do. They don't "owe" anybody a damn thing.

I have never understood the idea that anyone who chooses to leave WWE after several years has wasted WWE's time (with the possible exception of Bobby Lashley). Especially in the case of divas, who have a much more limited lifespan in terms of what they can do career-wise.
So Kaitlyn had TV time invested in her and now she's left. So...? That's the nature of the business; people will always be on the way out and others on the way in. I've long thought "male soap opera" is a good phrase in this respect because of the similarity. There are always new actors/characters in soaps; they arrive, get the spotlight for a year or two, then leave. Was that time wasted? Well, did they entertain you? Did you enjoy watching them? That should be the focus, nothing else.
Even business wise I can't see this being a problem. If it happens with the men you build the main part of the company around, then yes it's problematic (which is why Lashley leaving is the only waste of time I can understand, as he was being groomed to be something big and left before any real results were achieved). But the divas have always been a midcard division, and those divisions can survive constantly evolving and the arrival and departure of their performers.
Kaitlyn got the spotlight for maybe a little over half a year and now she's gone. Was that time wasted? Not in my eyes. As a fan I mostly care about what I watch and whether it entertains me, and Kaitlyn's time in the spotlight resulted in a good feud and several good PPV matches. Job done. The only time wasted is the time since Summerslam when WWE could have been using her and chose not to, or used her ineffectually.
And this business, as has been well documented, is damn hard on every aspect of a persons life. As a young woman she gave some of the best years of her life to it. She doesn't answer to anyone but herself.

Best of luck to her, between NXT: Redemption weirdness and parts of her feud with AJ she's contributed some memorable stuff.

Even though I predicted she would retire this year in the 'predict 2014' thread... damn, this sucks.
It may have been noted, but she tweeted to contact her at bookings@celestialbodiez.com - with her real name being Celeste, I'd imagine she's setting up a personal training business / TV show.
She would make a great 21st century Kiana Tom!

I personally love this new trend of people getting in, making some decent money and getting out before they're broken and embittered by the nature of the business.

This is my new favorite term. I'm dead serious. As for Kaitlyn, all the best to her and her bulky future husband. KEEP REACHING HIGHER, KAITLYN. Too many times have I been betrayed by those illegitimate erections!

2014's just kicking me in the balls over and over. THEY'RE ALREADY DEAD YOU ANIMALS!
Very disappointed, but what can you do? No Chickbusters reunion is the worst part of this.

Damn, the half of the Chickbusters I genuinely liked.
Welp, that dwindles the number of Divas that can actually wrestle and I like even more.
If I didn't think the Total Divas crap was going to overrun the division for the next year or two, I'd hold out hope they'd bring up some of the NXT girls and/or let Summer wrestle more.

You shall be missed Kaitlyn! Going well and beyond what was currently expected (by the company anyway) and became one of the good one's in the current state of the divas division

I think both her and Eve Torres could of been huge stars had they stuck around.

Well this stinks. Good luck, Kaitlyn, and thanks for giving a damn when you were entertaining us. BTW, here are AJ Lee's tweets: A.J. @wweajlee 2h To @kaitlynwwe : Thank you for letting me have your tryout, your first match, your last match, and your Savage Garden CD. I could not have A.J. @wweajlee 2h survived or succeeded without you. But I’m really psyched my reproductive organs won’t have to endure any more spears. @kaitlynwwe A.J. @wweajlee 2h Also I’m pretty sure the best things we ever did were that WWE app fight, Payback, & that gif of us mounting each other in Russia UPDATE: And Kaitlyn's reply... K8LYN @kaitlynwwe 1h To my @wweajlee: you were my first, my last and my all time favorite. #TheBestIveEverHad (Not sexually of course)

And my interest in the Divas division drops to absolute zero.

Honestly, when any diva gets released I really could careless. Since the division is a big joke now, all the women are expendable & can easily be replaced. But that's why I don't blame Kaitlyn for leaving since she was just going to sit around anyways while the terrible Bella Twins get all the air time.
