Didn't The Shadow Man from "The Princess and The Frog" have some sort of disturbing death with him going into the underworld?

Disney villain deaths are generally no more gruesome than the original fairy tales they were based on. In the original Grimm version of Snow White, the Queen was forced to dance in red-hot iron shoes until she died from the pain. And in Cinderella, the stepsisters get their eyes pecked out by doves.
I do remember Gaston having a pretty gory death, though. I think he was thrown or fell off a balcony to get impaled on some spikes.

Didn't The Shadow Man from "The Princess and The Frog" have some sort of disturbing death with him going into the underworld? He was dragged by his shadow, who was being dragged by spirits (who were singing a reprise of her song) into an open grave to, presumably, the underworld.
